Why are dodger fans so obsessed with us ?

  1. I’m 38 with two small kids and I will tell you that sports fandom is fun but people who turn it into their sole identity are lame. Doesn’t matter who they root for, they’re going for a reaction, just ignore the troll. We have bigger things to worry about as Angels fans.

Dodgers fans obsessed with punching down are just lame trolls. Ignore them.

  2. Imagine how sad his life must be to have to count the successes of franchise millionaires who don’t even know he exists as his successes and then bully people online who follow another team just to feel good about his own life

  3. Dodger semi-fan here. I live here but my team is the Os.

Dodger fans are verrry entitled. They’re only a step up from Yankees fans cause the lovely weather gives them a more cheery disposition.

And this guy in particular seems bored/lonely/depressed and is just looking for a reaction

  4. Because it’s easy to root for a franchise that wins. I think it’s funny that this “dodger” fan acts like he won the WS for them and the dodgers accomplishments are his accomplishments.💀 it’s honestly sad because it takes no effort to root for a team like the dodgers. Plus, they got money and any team with money can get you super stars. Can’t take those fans seriously and they ain’t even from California they’re originated from New York 😭

  5. Dodger fans around me weren’t really assholes in the 80s and a lot of the 90s. Something changed with them after we won in 02. As I said this many times before and they keep denying, there were many Dodger fans rooting for the Giants even though they act like their arch rival. They think they run SoCal and can’t nobody except them be happy. Perhaps the Padres can stop choking and take the NL from them someday.

  6. It’s funny because my history with the Angels is because of family from Anaheim. Yet I had a diehard Dodger fan grandpa and used to watch all the games on tv with him with legendary Vin Scully announcing as core memories.

He would roll over in his grave with all the shithead fans they have now, just smile and wave and let them band wagon to the next thing.

  7. I stand by this:

LAD fans care more about the LAA/LAD “rivalry” than LAA fans do. And, it’s only a “rivalry” cause they are near each other.

We have a Manhattan Luxury Suite in their head, in which they feel the need to pay us rent as when they want to feel better about themselves.

hint: it’s not a rivalry, it’s just media trying to gather attention for baseball cause of location and current affairs with both teams success and status.

  8. Fans like that are the worse because they’ve only known the Dodgers as a good team when they’ve had plenty of bad stretches.

  9. Ive noticed sports fandom for alot of people is brand Association. “I only root for winners because im a winner!”. Example 49er fans who grew up in southern california with 3 different teams to root for. They repped the 49ers because the 49ers had Jerry rice and won a bunch of super bowls.

  10. I imagine that guy hasn’t seen actual sunlight in so long that he would burst into flame the second he walks outside.

  11. The players who actually play on the field don’t even care as much as this loser. Rent free baby 😂

  12. Let’s talk stats back with him. Dodgers have existed since 1883, the World Series has been around since 1903 which gives them 122 years and they’ve only won 8. They talk about how we grossly overpay for players, that is their whole team. Their entire team is bought superstars because they have a very wealthy owner who can afford it. This year, they are spending $341m on their payroll while we are at $204m, Ohtani only takes up $2m on their payroll as well, he’s a $70m/year player so their payroll is basically $409m which is double ours.

  13. Because it makes their teeny tiny pee-pees double in length. (To the full two inches.)

I’ve noticed that guys who usually come off like that are short. I guess it makes them feel taller.

  14. The Angels are a home homegrown Cali team. The Dodgers have a lot of cool history that doesn’t belong to California.

  15. I remember a point in time, where the Angels were the top team in their division year in and year out, and the Dodgers were “irrelevant”. Dodgers fans should enjoy it while they can and Angels fans shouldn’t fret, because it’s all cyclical.

  16. this is funny when you consider that the Dodgers have two rings since the Berlin Wall fell, and one of those was the covid ring lmao
