LIVE: HC DeMeco Ryans, C.J. Stroud, Dalton Schultz & Aireontae Ersery address the media
offense bounce back and if so what did you like to take to me again in camp there there is no bouncing back it’s about prog progress right whatever you do whatever your rep is offensively defensively I’m I’m looking at individual players right how are you getting better at your craft every day. And if you’re improving, that’s great for you and that’s great for our team, right? If you’re not improving, we got to take another look at it, right? Coaching first, making sure our players understanding what we’re asking them to do and making sure, you know, we’re we’re setting up an environment conducive to where they can get better. We’re going to hit the road as a team like the benefits of that just like things like that. And for us going to West Virginia for the next week, this be an opportunity for us to first and foremost get away from this heat out here in Houston and be able to actually pra p practice and focus on truly ball getting better, not just surviving in the heat. And by doing that, hopefully we can also uh get our team closer connected. As a new team, we have to grow together. We have to remain connected, get to know each other even better, and we’ll have the opportunities to do that there in West Virginia. You want to grab that. I’m not I’m not I’m not paying for it if it’s broke. Coach, speaking of that traveling, what can you say about the staff operations wise to take on the task of moving camp to one place to keep you guys smoothly doing the work that you got to do? First and foremost, for us to be able to take our camp to a remote place, I want to thank, you know, Cal and Hannah for first off allowing us to do this, right? It starts from ownership and their willingness to allow us to do it, right? So, big thanks to them. And there’s a lot of work that goes in behind the scenes. Our operations staff has done a great job of of planning and prepping for us to have a seamless trip. And we have one of the best staffs in ball, right? They think of every small detail that needs to be taken care of. They take care of that to make sure when we arrive there, uh, everything that we need is there and the guys can just grab the stuff and get to work. What have you seen from so far? Reflect on his season last year. Dalton has continued to improve throughout camp just watching him from day one. Like he’s came out with a a phenomenal attitude, uh, urgency to get better. um in the in the running game, also in the passing game. And people that have been here, you seen him make some tremendous catches in the passing game and looking like the old Dalton and the guy we thought, you know, we would get coming from Dallas. Guy who made a ton of plays in a passing game. That’s who I’m seeing showing up this camp. So, it’s good to see him. He’s looking fresh, playing fast, making plays, great catch radius, making big plays in a passing game. Expect to see more of that. Coach, when you are scripting practices of what you’re trying to get accomplished and this is just a sidebar issue, you sort of script down your playlist or the coaches get a chance to throw out the music that they hear in practice. Uh, great question. our our playlist at practice is picked by the players and I guess the mean the motive behind that is to make sure you know hopefully at some point a player will hear something that will provide some energy boost to him throughout practice our players they pick the playlist my music’s probably a little too old for them they wouldn’t it wouldn’t excite them too much along the same lines these nine practices do you feel like like the vibe that you had so far our camp I love the vibe of our camp I love the way our guys show up and work. I know I I joke about the heat, talk about the heat, but I haven’t had one guy complain. Our guys doing a great job with our nutrition staff of attacking the hydration, attacking the recovery, making sure they’re in great shape and ready to go out and perform. And nobody’s worried about the weather except me. But the guys are handling it really well. And man, I’m the vibe is right. Our guys play with great energy. You see guys dancing, having fun, making plays. Like that’s what I want our guys that’s what I want our guys to be. Like it’s hard to make plays in this league. You heard me say this before. So I want to see that enthusiasm. I think you bring that enthusiasm, it just it lifts others up, it makes practice more fun. And I don’t forget like everybody started playing football because it was a fun game to play. And I never want to lose sight of that. Like the excitement of the game, the excitement of having our fans out here, how excited you guys are to cover us. Look at all the smiles on your faces, right? It’s it’s a fun game. So, never lose sight of that, man. We have fun every single day. Talked about how he wanted to put on more muscle this offse in the offseason. Where have you seen that show up most in his game so far? Yeah. For CJ is, you know, for him to have that improvement off the field. You talk about your muscle, adding muscle, taking care of your body comp. Like that allows you to get better. You know, when you’re on the field, you have to move around. Uh we know CJ can be very dangerous. When he does escape the pocket, and he’s able to move around and make plays, avoid defenders. So, adding muscle, you know, shedding shedding body fat, improving your body comp, it only helps you, right, to be able to sustain any hits or anything you go into the ground. just helps you to be able to recover faster. All those things take place. So, it’s great to hear that he’s doing that. A lot of offensive linemen started to practice with the same guy on a pretty consistent basis. Do you feel like you’re kind of jelling with who works well with who on the offensive line? For offensive line, we’re getting settled into, you know, first group, second group, getting settled in and we have to find out throughout this camp who our top nine guys will be. And so we’ll continue to go through that process, but you start to see it get solidified. Guys start to separate themselves, especially once we put the pads on. You can see guys, you know, start to move ahead of other guys a little bit. So it’ll still evaluate those guys and see how the games go. But I’m I’m pleased with where we are now. And there’s still room for improvement. But I think it helps when you have continuity. You have you’re working besides the same guy for however many reps you’re going through practice. It helps with communication, help speeds up things, right? And so I think the guys done a great job of settling in and we’ll see how that continues to move forward. Coach had a good day today. The rookies are really having a good camp. How do you feel about the progression of the young guys uh before you guys? Our rookies are very dialed in. Every one of those guys, Taye, Woody, Jaylen Smith, both receivers, Jaden, Jaylen, each one of those guys, they make plays every single day and they fit right into what we’re building here. They fit right in of what we expect of and what we ask of them. They they show up, they work hard. Those guys don’t say much and they continue to get better every day. So, I’m excited really to see these guys get an opportunity to play in some preseason games when they really get a chance to cut it loose. I’m excited to see that for them. You been to the Green Bryer a couple times with 49ers. Just what do you remember about those games? Uh what I like about going to the Greenbryer is, you know, you get to really have a really nice facility there where it’s very convenient when it comes to football operations. Everything is in one building and you have the fields right there where the guys can get dressed, walk right out to the fields and get to work on their craft. So, I really love the setup and the convenience of the Green Bryer. And that’s the main reason why we’re going to weather the weather. I’mma leave the weather alone. I’m leave it on. Have a good one. was just saying how he’s happy with what you’ve done in Kansas that he’s used to see. How do you feel? Good. Um I don’t know. I feel like there’s a there’s a good burst of energy just around the building and and you know additions and the draft class and you know the the changes from last year. I think that’s definitely, you know, given the the whole room, the whole place, the the whole facility a new energy. Um, and yeah, dude, I feel good. Um, I was, you know, I had a couple things done in the offseason that I was kind of working through and, um, just now I think finally getting back on the field, getting back into football, I feel really good. Were you, uh, hurt last year? No. Dude, that’s that’s hard. Everybody’s hurt, dude. Like no matter no matter, right? like I I went through um just some like rehabs and some deficiencies that I had. Um but like I don’t know, everybody’s hurt, dude. Like nobody’s nobody’s fresh, especially in the playoffs. Like you ain’t playing somebody at 100%. That’s like the beauty of the game is to try to try to find a way to give everything you have into whatever percentage that you want to call your health at that point. You know what I mean? Everybody’s fighting through that. And so, um, that’s just the battle. It’s the war of attrition that that we play. And, um, I was happy to get an offseason under my belt where I could just kind of re refocus on getting my body back to a really nice baseline. How would you assess your performance last year, your personal performance? Um, dude, my performance is always like second to the team. Um, dude, I’ve never made it past a freaking divisional round in my career. And so for me, it’s like I’ve been trying to get past that round since the first time that I made it. And so for me, I mean, it’s just not good enough. Um, as a team, as like a personal, like obviously I didn’t do enough in that game to win it. And so I think just it always goes back to how did we all do? Great. We all did well. Then like let me look at me. Did I do enough to to have us play well? Yeah, good. And then same thing in the opposite way. Did we lose? Yeah, we lost. Okay, nobody did well. How am I critiquing myself? Obviously, I didn’t do enough. So, I always look at it through how did we do because ultimately that’s that’s what I care about. That’s how that’s what we care about. Jake comes from a tight end background. He used to coach and Hispanic guys. How much does his knowledge of the tight position and background help you guys? It’s good, dude. It’s good. Um especially like in these installs he’s able to like I don’t know tight end you got a lot on your plate like run game pass game protections like running back like everything you have to know everything and so having a guy that’s installing that knowing that there’s like few quirks on certain things that’s like hey on this you can treat it like x y and z and you know he’s able to kind of like give you that on the front end before you go out for yourself and run it and have to learn it for yourself. So, he’s able to kind of get you almost ahead of the curve in some of these insults. Kade Katie, um, what have you seen from K as he looks like? He’s grown a lot like strength, speed, size, like knowledge of the game. Like, he looks way more comfortable. Um, I’m like, it’s fun like having him in the room because like he’s he’s a he’s like a he’s a farm boy like you know what I mean? Like backount like loves to get down and dirty but at the same time you can see that he’s like he’s really smart and he’s got kind of a knowledge for the game especially being on the defensive side of the ball for so long like he’s got that knowledge of like the other side too. So, I think um he doesn’t talk about it a ton, but I think he’s smarter than he gives himself credit for. Um and that makes it really fun being a guy going into year eight. I can I can have some conversations with him that, you know, some young guys in his position like I I wouldn’t be able to, you know what I mean? Going into this season, um you say this year, you approach the hockey team or by what your season? What’s different about you going into this? Um, the off seasonason wasn’t like I didn’t do anything drastic, but it was almost like a I’d say this is the first year where I’ve kind of accepted the fact that like sometimes less is more. Like I’ve always been a listen like I’m working. Like I’m here to work. I’m here to do reps. I’m here to take it all. Like let me work. And as the older you get, like sometimes you got to pull the reins back a little bit. And like I would say that this year I’ve kind of listened to them. I don’t know. My younger years I would always be like, “Dude, screw you.” Like I’m I’m taking my reps. Um but this is the first year where I’ve been able to back off and seen like and felt improvements from that. So I’d say beyond that, like I’ve been attacking it the same way. Um, but sometimes being able to listen to like when the rains are being pulled in a little bit, it’s helped. Last two guys. In your opinion, what has made time, especially having back out there practicing with you guys? Yeah, dude. It’s we got a really good group of like of six guys really. Um, I think Brevin brings just a I mean, y’all saw Cleveland a couple years ago. That dude’s fast. like he brings something that me and Kade maybe don’t quite have in terms of just raw speed. Um, and dude, like Brevin looks so good. Like he’s like watching him run, he looks like I’m excited for him just to see like him put together like a full year. Um, the kid looks fast. And so I think between, you know, I already talked about Kade, but like between us three, we kind of we’re very unique in like what we bring and like what we offer. And I’m I’m really excited to see Kaylee, who’s got a very strong tight end background, how he kind of employs different guys in different spots and doing the things that might suit us. Well, we’ll close with DJ. You mentioned obviously last year wasn’t good enough because you couldn’t get past the divisional round. What do you think this year you guys kind of have to do to be able to get past that? Cuz obviously you guys have the talent. What do you think it’s going to take to be able to get over that proverbial hump? It’s a good question, dude. I wish I had the answer for you. I wish that I could be like we just got to do one thing to get past it. You know what I mean? Like the truth is that every every year is a new year and every new year presents new challenges. Um, and it’s never the same as the year before. And there’s always some little wrinkle that is going to hit the league or, you know, hit your team. Like, it’s a new challenge every year. And I think that that’s kind of the beauty of it is finding a way to to work with what you have, sharpen what you have, and then when it comes that to that point to fall back on what you’ve built over the last 20, 25 weeks at that point. Appreciate it. Good. Thanks, guys. talking about. Yeah, for sure. you know, onceever you get a group of guys together, you know, you find things in common, you find things that are different about each other and you just, you know, build that bond and that um that team the team chemistry. So, I think it’s going to be good for us. How do you think the offense is just coming along from from your viewpoint? Thank you. Um, you know, it takes time. It’s not something that just like happens overnight. I feel like we’re we’re getting better every day. Um, we’re having good conversations, you know, uh, on how routes are going to be ran and how scheme is seen by both player and coach. So, you know, it’s been really good to, you know, hash out some things and, you know, going against a good defense. So, you know, it, you know, it’s not always easy just going against them and they’re really good. So, you know, it’s uh bumps and bruises, but you know, I feel like we’re we’re making progress. CJ, now you had some time with Christian Kirk during many camps and now what what have you seen from Kirk as a piece of this offense being on page with him? Christian’s always been great. you know, he’s I’ve been a fan of his since college and um you know, he’s been somebody who has put it on tape a bunch and been one of the you know, best receivers in the league for for a minute now. So, um I think, you know, our u chemistry is being seen every day. You know, we’ve been uh you know, not just close um on the field, but off as well, just having conversations on how we look at scheme and routes and whatnot. So, I think he’s going to be great and he’s been that way so far in camp. You’ve known you’ve known K for a long time. Um being a farm boy like how do you see that manifest itself on and off the field? Um he’s just a tough guy, you know. So he just that Ohio tough that, you know, when I moved to Ohio to go to school, they always talked about, you know, being tough and, you know, um being developed. That’s kind of just, you know, how guys from Ohio State just come out, you know, we’re all, you know, mentally, physically, and um tough and we’re trying to, you know, um show, you know, that that we’re that way. And I think, you know, it kind of comes off naturally for him just like his background with um you know, farming and whatnot. So yeah, he’s he’s done, you know, incredible things, but he’s taken another step with route running, pass catching, and I think, you know, that’s somewhere where he wanted to take his game up a notch, and he has. How how challenging has it been uh to learn this off this new offense while also meeting several new players on the team? What have you learned about yourself as a quarterback? Uh, I mean, just challenges every year. I don’t really look at it as a challenge, more like opportunity um to you know to um learn something new about the game of football and also you know take the opportunity to you know help other guys. Um so I don’t really look it as a challenge but uh I don’t really look it as a challenging you know it’s kind of uh something that you kind of like when you’re just playing football you kind of get used to just learning new schemes and learning new people. Um, so yeah, it’s been fun. And, um, I don’t know, as a quarterback, I just feel like maybe I’m uh just starting to feel comfortable, you know, trying to, um, get better every day. I think I’m really hard on myself. And I think it’s a good thing u to get better each day. And I I think next step for me is, you know, taking the guys around me to to think the same way and, you know, um, to get them to buy into what um, as a team, what we’re trying to do. So, I think that’s where I can grow as a quarterback. about this office. Uh I would say, you know, the the people, you know, it’s scheme and scheme, you know, it’s it’s great. You know, it’s uh it’s timing, you know, that you want to call great plays against great looks, but um even in those looks, you got to still make plays with the players. And also, you know, when the looks aren’t as great, you know, we got to have our coaches back, you know, to make those plays to to run smoothly or just get a positive play. So, um, that’s what excites me is just, you know, this is a really, really talented group and I’m excited to, you know, go out there on Sunday with these guys and compete. Success, uh, throwing to guys in the slot and they brought in some guys who do good work in the slot. What do you like about throwing to receivers lined up in the slot? And do you think that’s one of your strengths? Uh, I think it’s kind of football, you know, it’s like whoever’s open, I try to get the ball, too. I think I’m good on throwing guys to the outside and inside. I don’t really have a preference, so to speak, but you know, you know, we’ve had great guys on the slide with Steph and um Tank, Match, now we got C Kirk, Jy. I think our guys are very versatile, too. So, um yeah, I’ve been just trying to get better in both. Moments with the offensive line and the guys that protected you throughout practice where they’re kind of coming together, having some some good moments. Am I Am I seeing that? Yeah. Are you starting to see that with the with the five guys? Yeah, you know, it takes time, you know, especially, you know, the first couple days you’re not no pass. So, it’s not always easy, you know, and I think that’s the best D line in football right now, you know, with just how they get off the ball. Two edge guys, you know, Will and Denil are, you know, crazy athletes, but, you know, they rush together. They rush as a unit. I think it’s just making us better. But, you know, I think you don’t want to just continue to like just say the defense is good. You want to start seeing progress and seeing plays being made. I think we’ve seen that these last couple days. So, it’s it’s helpful for me to like start going through reads and be able to go through my full progression when the O line’s, you know, picking everything up and I think they’ve done a great job of just can continue to work and keeping their head up, staying confident cuz it’s not easy going against those guys every day and I get that. But, you know, we we have trust that those guys are our guys are very talented too on the offensive side of the ball. The physical improvements that you told us about in the offseason that are on display here, how specifically have they helped you? Thank you. I appreciate it. How’s how uh how good how has that manifested itself? And how does your arm feel and everything feel you as your body? Oh yeah, I feel good. You know, I feel fast. I feel strong. I feel healthy. Um I don’t know if I look chubby or look fat, but I feel good. I don’t know. Yeah, I appreciate it. Yeah, I feel good though. Yeah, I’m running fast, you know. So, you mentioned how you’re hard on yourself. Do you view that more as a blessing or or is it something that you have to work with? It could be both, you know. It could be something that like, you know, your body my body language isn’t always great. Um, and I think I’m just a I love winning, man. You know, it’s it’s hard when like you’re not doing what you want to do or things around you aren’t great. You know, it’s it’s easy to be negative. So, my my things I have to be try to be more positive in my body language and things like that. Um, but I I’ve learned this over my years, too. And this little nugget that I got from a pastor was like mistakes and failures or even successes can either be a classroom or a coffin. So like I can either let it train me and I can learn from it or I can let it kill me and I can get in a coffin with it and and you know let that mistake you know u take a course in a negative route. So um for me I try to make it a classroom as much as possible to where I can learn from it um analyze it study it and then move on. And I think that’s something that I’m trying to get better at. Talk about how the the defense of course is testing me offense. You’re such a great defense. Um, in what ways have you seen the other CJ make an impact and guarder Johnson and what he’s brought to the team defensively? Yeah, you know, he’s uh he’s a different cat. He’s a great guy like wants to be, you know, a locker room guy. He is locker room guy. Very um friendly, very cool. Like me and him uh mesh well, you know, his first day I called him. Well, I texted him and, you know, welcome him on the team and was just excited to have him. Um, and I think it’s dope because, you know, he’s coming off, you know, um, some a lot of playoff experience and Super Bowl experience. So, like I think do nothing but just help us. Um, so yeah, he’s doing a great job of, um, Thanks, Aaron. I’m just fine. He’s doing a great job of just helping us all around. We’ll go to DJ and then Shelby for the last one. In terms of playing on script and playing off script, what’s kind of like that balance in practice to make sure you’re still being as effective and efficient in practice? Um, yeah. I mean, it’s it’s kind of like for me, I just try to look at it as the game is like play what I see and let my instincts, you know, like I think I’m a very instinctual player and I’m very thoughtful pre- snap, but once the ball snap, like try to play with instincts. Um, and like feel rotation, field coverage and, you know, whatever that looks like and also fill the pocket. So, it’s a it’s a lot to do, but done it for a little minute now. And I’m getting better when it comes to the NFL process of, you know, ripping one if one’s there, taking two. you can shortcut to five, go to five. Like there’s things that you do when you just get more mature in the game. And you know, I’m only 23 and I’m still learning a lot. So, um, just trying to get better in those those things. So, just learning from, you know, the times where I should have checked it down instead of running or should have ran instead of check it down or vice versa. CJ, with you and your mom visiting the Texas Children’s Hospital, what makes it so important for you and your family to give back to the community together? Uh, it that’s how we started. So, you know, I was when I was a kid, that’s what we did, you know. Um, we gave back every time, every weekend I could remember to the homeless, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, um, back to school things. And, um, you know, we’ve always wanted to keep that a thing. And I think it’s it’s just not only did you know that experience, you know, I think um inspire the kids, but it it gave me joy, you know, just to see like like it it makes me emotional, but like to see them going through so much to um still have joy and still be hopeful, you know, for life. And for us, like we’re playing this game. It’s a it’s important game. It’s it’s a blessing, but it’s not the biggest thing, you know? I think those things are a lot bigger than, you know, throwing a good pass or whatever. like those things are still important, but like when you’re looking at the those lives, you know, like it it doesn’t even, you know, like compare. So, I think that not only didn’t help them, but it helped me a ton. And we just want to, you know, we want to Houston’s open up opened up arms to us as a home and we want to be able to, you know, give it back and do the same thing in California, too. So, it was a blessing. Thank you. Thank you, guys. All right. How are you? Good, good, good. How you feeling first? How do you think everything’s gone? And do you feel like you found your spot in right tackle? Uh camp so far has been great. Um having Cole Papovic um his style of offensive line play, his mindset, and now being able to relate to that because he had a similar he got a similar personality to my old line coach from uh college. So, uh, being able to go out there and be coachable, be with the older guys, learn from them, um, and then come out here and play against guys who’ve been playing at a high level, uh, just nothing but a blessing. You talked about, you know, being coachable, but also playing with the older guys in the dance. I saw Tus play. Has it been like working alongside him on the right side? Feeling comfortable over there? Uh, it’s been nothing but a blessing. You know, Tobin, I think it’s like year eight for him. Uh, he’s been in league for a very long time. He knows different tendencies from different defensive lineman. Um, and he’s been doing nothing but trying to help me as a as a big brother. Um, and I’ve been soaking it all in. Talk about playing for coach having a similar mindset to your college coach. What is his mindset? What is kind of his attitude? I mean, we got to be physical up front. Um, start with the run starting with the running game, you know, make them tired with that and then turn around and be efficient in the pass. What’s been your biggest adjustment or the thing you learned the most? Uh, I think it’s the Texas heat. Oh, it’s hot. You know, I was in Minnesota for what, five years. Uh, and then coming down here, it’s just different, man. You see me at if you ever see me or pay attention, I always go to the cool box, you know, to kind of cool down and get back. Right. You’ve had quite the welcome to the NFL going up against a defensive line that CJ Strats called the best in the league. Yeah. Where do you feel you’re at now after having seen a couple of padded practices against this guy like Denil? Um I I feel good where I’m at right now, but ads, man. I ain’t I ain’t really did nothing. Uh like I said, I’m just a speck on the wall. Um and try to earn everything. You know, nothing is given. I got to earn everything. So, it’s been good so far. Like blocking for CJ Stroud. And what advice have any he given you? He was a rookie not that many years ago to talk to you as a double big guy. Oh, man. He’s a competitive leader, fierce, fearless. Um, and he just want us as a O line to, you know, be better. Um, and he’s going to help us and put us in a position to go out there and do so. So, you know, so far, you know, CJ’s been doing great and I love blocking for the guy. In reality, have you taken Have you taken the opportunity because you’re going against real and the nail. You saw them in between and you get a chance to just go over there and sort of pick their brains and see like your footwork line up and all like that and trying to make that h you know, help sharpen your tools. Yeah. Yeah. They’re uh they’re smart guys. Um, like I said, they’ve been playing a lot of ball in the NFL and, uh, they can pick up on things so so easily and I just wanted to kind of pick their brain, kind of see like what they see from me, uh, when they see pass or what they see run because I want to keep the same stance and be consistent with everything that I do. So, uh, it’s very, very insightful. That’s why I do that. I like to talk to those guys more of a quiet group. You said coach who coach to be honest because our wider group but uh have you guys as a class got together and looked at where this team is now working in a championship window and how you can impact this team to get over. Yeah. Uh I definitely think that from the top to the bottom I think this is a Super Bowl caliber team. I mean I know guys said it uh plenty of times. I mean we got a hell of a quarterback. We got a hell of a defensive line and you know our old line was going to come together and make this thing work. So, um, so you said about something about the rookies being quiet. Yeah, Coach Ryan called y’all a quieter group, but as a group, have you guys came together and talk with each other, uh, to, you know, figure out how y’all can be an impactful group for this team to get over the hump, to make a Super Bowl run? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I say collectively, I mean, we all just want to come in and help the team out. Um, and make the Texans better. That’s really just coming in playing at a high level. Who’s the most vocal rookie? Say that. Who’s the most vocal rookie? Vocal on the field, in the locker room, personality, whatever. I would say Keonte, the Dagle. I would say he probably got the most. He’s always answering questions, always raising his hand. He’s always talking in the locker room, super like. You can always hear him. He got a a great personality, great guy to be around. So, I would say him. How do you feel like going from right to left reps on the right side and then the left side first to third? Uh I mean I’m more natural on the left. I play left for longer. But it’s like riding a bike. Once you once you get on it, you just keep pedaling. So it’s not that hard. Hey, I’m getting more comfortable right. Yes, sir. Look at what you have to work on. What’s your focus? Like a very native campus. What do you think the students really hone in on? Um, I mean just just small details and small things like getting out my stands, having a uh perfect stance. Uh, one thing that Denil did mention to me, you know, us talking over there is, um, the great ones, they played and have great technique when they tired. So, that right there is something that stuck with me. So, I just try to focus on that when we out here and we play, uh, different situations in practice and, uh, really hone in on my technique. Couple more. Along similar lines, you know, obviously these next few weeks are going to be pretty crucial for you guys, I guess. What are you guys hoping to show as a unit um kind of moving forward? Just take it one day at a time. Uh don’t think too far ahead. Um it’s like I it’s a long training camp. Um and uh as a offensive line, as a unit, uh we just want to continue just to get better and as a offense just go out there and continue to play cohesively. Okay. Thank you. Appreciate you guys.

Offense play calling is the key this year… We know the Defense is elite. Improved Special Teams talent through the draft.
Is it just me or does Dalton look and sound really hungry for more than just the last 2 years finishes?
