It’s Gorman, the third baseman, who fires across to get Cronorth for the on the ground to third base. Gorman again out number two. It’s a first in the second and a third in the fourth inning. And now a liner that is caught. The shorts stop Mason Win get that strike three. Knew it. Lars Newar takes with him the first strike out for David Morgan. Off of Morgan, two is chopped to short. High hopper for Bogarts. And the second out of the grounder Bogarts to the backand plants and throws. Inning over. Going to the bottom of the eighth. There’s a ground to right side. There’s a grounder to short and Bogarts thought about going to second. Now he throws and gets him at first base. A little indecision there, but he gets the job done. Two big runs for the Cardinals. They have an 8-4 lead. Check swing grounded to first base. Contraras will tag the bag for out number two of the night as Aacius takes third. Line to right and a base hit four for me. From third comes the glacius and it’s eight to five marrow so far here in the ninth. And a fly ball to right field. Back goes Newar onto the warning track. Makes the catch in front of the wall that ends the ball game. That one looked like it had a chance.
