Okay, let’s look at this uh baseball game for Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 between the Kansas City Royals who are at the Toronto Blue Jays. Seth Lugo is expected to be the starter for the Royals here on this one. The 35-year-old right-hander has really uh had a change uh pitched very well since joining the Royals last year. He’s posted a 3.00 RA last year, a 3.03 erra this year. Uh so he’s very quietly been one of the better pitchers in baseball and he was a relief pitcher more or less before this and so even to the last five years uh he’s in the top 15% in baseball in erra. Somebody that a lot of people don’t really even know much about but since 2021 top 15% in erra. Uh the Royals come to this game 8 and three their last 11. Uh or coming to Saturday I should say they’re eight and three their last 11. They uh have really been hitting the ball a lot better since coming back from the All-Star break. In fact, their team OPS is 88 points higher here in the second half of the season compared to the overall season. On the other side of things, the Blue Jays are struggling a little bit after being redot for much of July. They’ve dropped five of their last six as of this recording. Um the problem uh has been they’re dealing with some injuries right now. The Blue Jays are missing two of their top five hitters uh due to injury. And uh Chris Basset’s expected to be on the hill here for the Blue Jays here in this one. Basset’s coming off his worst start of the year last time out. He got drilled against the Baltimore Orioles in his last start. Overall though, when you add it all up here, the the Royals are going to be getting a good solid plus price here in this one, and that’s where the value is at.
