  6. This is unrelated, but I just watched the whole game 1 Knicks – Pacers again. I think it’s the happiest I’ve ever been as an NBA fan and I’m 37. He’s a flamethrower!!! Sooo good.

  21. This is ancillary to my reply to another comment: why is it so popular to hate on the Knicks? Is it just because of the large media market? Is it Dolan? They’re just a good team that was genuinely terrible for most of the past 20 years, and yet feel like they might be the second most detested team on r/nba behind the Lakers. I genuinely mean it-can someone please diagnose it for me?

  23. We still to talk about his 2024-2025 Calendar year in reverie more. This man was on some shit. Gold medal w/o playing so he cracked the first joke, at some point dresses up in his best Denim shorts, Stone Cold T-shirt and combat boots and is on NXT, plays some great basketball, hangs nuts ala Sam Cassell, Hits the “choke” in the garden on a clutch shot, looking at Reggie Miller (who could only manage to utter a “Wow” iirc) and made it to the finals. Someone else can tell it better but this is a bad motherfucker right here

  24. I love this heel stuff and think it’s great, but people don’t understand the term rent free. If you start a conversation about someone and they respond, that isn’t “rent free”, they weren’t thinking about them until you brought it to their attention.

    Rent free would be like if Knicks fans were walking down 7th ave shouting “fuck Hali” after a random regular season game against the bulls or something

  26. If Haliburton hadn’t got hurt they had a solid chance to win a championship. Hope he comes back healthy and continues where he left off, except the part about them beating the Knicks.

  28. How many athletes from opponents live rent free in New Yorkers’ heads? Not long ago it was Trae Young. Might still be him if Atlanta ales out NYC again this year

  30. I haven’t felt this way about an athlete since Andrew Luck. Ty is showing me that even though I was broken, I can learn to stan again.
