Warriors have FAILED Jonathan Kuminga
I think it’s about time I talk about this Kuminga situation because th this this is something. By the time I’m through with this video, another dildo will be thrown on the WNBA court. They’re out here taking bets on what color will be thrown next. Say it ain’t so. And this man grabbed it with his bare hands. Unsanitary behavior. Preposterous. Run it under some water before you give it back to Fiona. Jonathan Kuminga now finds himself at an impass with the Golden State Warriors. He keeps declining their offers. 2 years4 million with a builtin trade clause. He said no to that. What was offered to him by the Warriors was very team friendly, something that’s tradable and allows them to continue to be flexible with their books. But Kuminga sees it as the same rut he’s been stuck in for the past few seasons. No guarantees were made by the Warriors in him being a starter, him having more minutes, a bigger role on the team, things he wants and craves. These mouthwatering minutes are being offered by the Phoenix Suns as well as everything else that Kuminga desires. Unfortunately, it doesn’t meet the expectations of the Warriors because they want an unprotected first round pick which the Suns don’t have. And they also don’t want to take on extra salary and bad contracts. The Sacramento Kings do have some quality pieces they can give the Warriors, but the Warriors insist upon that unprotected first round pick, and the Kings are unwilling to give them that. So, Kuminga refuses to accept the deals being offered to him by the Warriors. And since he’s a restricted free agent, only the Warriors have say so of where he goes. And the only two possible destinations thus far in this soap opera are the Sons and the Kings. And the Warriors feel those two haven’t offered them anything worth their time. So, you have two parties standing still doing nothing. I’ll stay here not budging. I can and I will if it makes you and me and the whole world stand still. Good on you, warriors. You mustn’t let up. Don’t give him an inch, you hear. You know what else is standing still? Your championship hopes. Meanwhile, the world continues to turn. The Lakers have gotten better. The Clippers have gotten injured. I mean better. Man over there selling t-shirts, brother over there selling pies and papers. Everybody moving, making money while we standing still being broke. The Warriors are inept. This is why Kuminga said what he said just two seasons ago and why Steve Kerr’s head continues to become an even bigger block year after year. This same blockhead who when faced with a playin scenario these past playoffs took a timeout to draw up a play for Buddy Heield, a Buddy He who was shooting 33% from three over Pods who was shooting 50% from three and Steph Curry who was shooting 58%. [Music] Kumingo looked like he was giving you a good scoring boost in the first half. What went into the decision not to have him play in the Yeah, he was playing great and and you know his normal time to go back in would have been around the um you know five six minute mark and uh Wigs was was playing great and we were rolling. We’re up 18 19 whatever it was and so we just stayed with him and then at that point um it didn’t feel you know um like it was the right thing to do. knew he’d been sitting for a while, so I stayed with the group that was out there and um obviously um you know, we couldn’t couldn’t close it out. I don’t get it. Curry up ahead. Ka flying. Kinga lays it in that screen. Navigated it well on the hit. Kinga with his chest drive finds. Good Kaminga. Good. Back on the bench. Now, this is the part of the video where I get hit with all types of allegations of hatred to the Warriors. Curry is quite possibly my favorite player in the NBA. He got me back into the game of basketball. I’ve glazed this man expeditiously. No pause needed. But his being on this team doesn’t in any way sway my opinion about this organization. The Warriors are the basketball equivalent of OVO. You don’t go to OVO to have a career yourself. You don’t go to OVO to stand out. You go to OO to help Drake. The NBA version of Drake is LeBron for a multitude of reasons. Bro just had to throw LeBron in there and did you watching me? I ain’t watching you. If you’re a young player, I don’t think you want to go to the Warriors. You’re expected to be on the same page almost immediately. And if you aren’t, you have to kick rocks, learn the complexities of our offense now, develop later. Look at what they did to poor James Weisman. I mean, he wasn’t much wise about him when he was here in Detroit. Oh my god. Great Depression hoops. How do you let Trey Young do that to you? It’s just Trey Young. Are you Ben Simmons? Oh, make them both. Make them both. There needed to be a restraining order placed between him and the ball. The bad example. Okay, bad example. But let’s not forget what you did to poor Jordan Pool. You turned him into Jordan pavement. You punched the talent out of him. You let that mule mutilate his biomechanics. You let El Buto run rampant for years without holding him accountable. Steve Kerr, how many times we heard Steve Curr say, “I didn’t see it when when I didn’t see it.” You don’t see [ __ ] Steve Ostrich, you didn’t see it because you didn’t want to see it. Season after season, you’ve treated Kuminga as an afterthought. Even when he does good, you’d bench him. And he’d express multitudes of times, “I don’t even know what I did wrong to get benched. They don’t tell me.” He could do something right, gets benched, does something wrong, gets benched. They’re not giving him the time of day. How do you expect a player to fully develop and acclimate to your team if for the majority of their rookie contract they’re playing second fiddle to dinosaurs? And if you happen to be a Warrior fan and you think Kuminga is being selfish, I’ve seen people on Twitter say, “Oh, he he doesn’t know what it takes to win. He’s being so self-absorbed.” But look at the name of this Twitter user. Look at the names of all these people that just simp and stand after their favorite player and team. Anyone who has a profile picture of their favorite player or they’re named after their favorite player or team, don’t expect people to take your opinion seriously or not see some sort of bias or subjective line of thinking and what it is you’re saying because more often than not it is. But even if one so happens to be a Warrior fan, I don’t see how you can condone how the team has treated some younger players. Kuminga being chief among them and think that’s okay and think that makes sense. This is straight up a my career storyline in 2K. Say something like the coach or the GM has it out for you and what do you do? Do you keep your head down and go to work or do you go at them or you try to go over their head? Except in this case, you know, you will never be a priority. It sincerely feels like to me they just don’t want to part ways with Kaminga because they’re scared of him becoming a star somewhere and then they’ll be kicking themselves later. Now, I’m not saying Kinga has that type of upside. I don’t know what his ceiling will be, but I believe his being on the Warriors has stunted his growth. I don’t think it’s really helped him blossom into the player that he could probably be if he were on a different team and allowed to make mistakes, allowed to have more say so in decision-m during key moments of a game. Breathing room essentially. This doesn’t mean I don’t understand why they would prioritize and look at the core of the warriors that have won these many rings looking at Curry as the main focal point. It’s Curry. I get that completely. But you can do both. You can give Kuminga more leeway while also allowing the Curry era to continue until it can’t anymore. I’d say this for any organization and their handling of a player in this manner cuz it’s just a lightning rod for negative team chemistry. He says, “Here, I’ll bet on myself all day.” The Warriors sure as hell won’t. Kinga has about a month and a half or two before he has to make a decision on this qualifying offer that he’d be in store for. So, who knows what’ll come of that. I just find it hilarious how a team can tank a player’s value yet expect high value return for him. It’ll be so funny if he goes to another team and then he turns into this fringe allstar type player and then Warrior fandom and bunch of other people be kicking themselves. You’ll see YouTube videos all over the place. What if Kuminga stayed? What if? It’ll be just so hilarious to me. But tell me what you think of this situation. What do you make of it? Do you think Kuminga’s in the wrong? Do you think the Warriors are in the wrong? And do you think what I’ve said is wrong? Comment below. Let me know. I’ll leave a link to the new Discord server I made in the description below, as well as a variety of other links. Patreon, this, that, and the other if you want to support the channel. Thank you all so very much. Like and subscribe if you are new, and I will see you on the next one.
Jonathan Kuminga is in a standoff with the Golden State Warriors, and I can see why he keeps refusing their offers and wants off a team that has no plans for him now or in the future.

Decade-long Warriors fan here: if I had a penny for everytime I've said "so you're telling me Kuminga can't make this line-up better?" In a losing game, I could probably afford the new 2k game on Switch 2.
He’s good, but he’s show time and time again he’s makes silly decisions. Can’t dribble like that. Not a dog on the glass. He gotta stay consistent. Podz averages more rebounds come on now.
RFA rights are athletic slavery
500th like!
2:41 song name
They should have kept or brought back javale McGee and let him retire there
As a dubs fan yes and no. While yes we could've develop him better for sure. He just doesn't fit and aren't willing to buy into the system. That said even when giving more opportunities especially before he got injured and before butler came. Jk has shown no growth. Hes been known as a scorer and have high athleticism and 4 years later thats all he still has shown… he hasn't pogress in anyway. Bro is ball dominant, tunnel visions, not a good defender, not a good passer, can't shoot the ball. Hell no we ain't gonna overpay him. If moody and podz can swallow their pride and find way to be adaptive and grow their game besides scoring only. Then jk can do it too. But it isn't the case. At this point i just ik he's gone and I'm so tired of waiting around. Yall gotta understand that the 2nd apron is no joke. If we hand him a huge contract. Then might as well trade steph, dray and butler or ask them to retire. We can't sign no one be ause if we did then other teams will just pay him maybe a dollar more and then we lose him for nothing. Basically he either takes we give him or take the qualifying. Ik the dubs aren't letting him leave for free.
You can hate all you want but you can't take away any of the championships the warriors have won with and without JK.💍 💍 💍 💍
You are very correct! We need a "Kerr Ostrich" merch to go with "Darth Mule'
I'm a warriors fan and I can't stand silly people who say things like "low IQ" wit respect to JK. He never got the reps needed and he was being asked to do too much.
Playmake, score, defend , rebound and he dare not turn the ball over.
Curry doesn't even have that much on his plate.
I'm a die hard warriors fan and I agree with everything you said. If we don't resign JK then I have absolutely no idea what this team is doing anymore
Since the warrior's full 3peat, Steve Kerr has been exposed continuously for being an absolute joke of a coach
A REAL great coach will make even the bench players just as good as the role players
Pops is proof of that
Every rookie Steve has had since the beginning of their 3peat run has either disappeared completely or stuck in GLeague purgatory
What's even sadder is that he's had 3 rookies since 2020 and failed them all (Wiseman, kuminga & poole). GSW is not a team to play for because Kerr depends too much on Steph/Dray to the point where nobody can pick up the weight if both of them are out.
They're in the same boat as Philly cause all it takes is one announcement & their toxic AF fan base will abandon them faster than notyouraverageflight avoids accountability
this over a "fringe" all star player is wild
hopefully we can put him in a package for giannis. (yes i know im delusional let me live in my delusion)
By Warriors we mean KERR 😤 and Dunleavy by proxy.
No pause needed 😂
Kerr was trying to copy the same coaching style and philosophy as Pop !!!
They don’t have a true big in the
middle!!
Nor a solid four !!!
Mark Jackson coached this team better than Steve hands down !!! The organization didn’t believe in Mark and gave his team to Steve !!! This kuminga situation wouldn’t been a problem if Mark was still the coach for Christ sakes
Jimmy Butler !!!! Old ahh Jimmy that can’t buy a bucket since Father Time kicked in !!! Your not doing Steph a favor your killing his legacy with a broke team Get rid of Kerr cause the inmates run the asylum !!!
Steve Kerr is the problem with the warriors
Fire Steve and the warriors 🚀
Warriors fan here, 110% Steve Kerr’s fault. He needs to go!!!
Should just go to the lakeshow
JK needs to play his contract out and move on to something better the warriors are done when Steph retires
personally i love kuminga on the warriors but they’re not the right team for him with kerr as coach
L title. Kuminga's Failed the warriors.
As Dub Nation I can see why JK would be frustrated, but I'm also frustrated he can't learn how to not turn the ball over in tragic idiotic ways and committing the dumbest fouls humanly possible
The problem is attitude, and low iq. If you come into an organisation with the mentality that he had its hard to earn back the trust and respect of the organisation
You know, I’ve always tried to give Kerr his credit. But, situations like these are why the Mark Jackson ghost will never go away. Mark literally helped develop Steph, Klay and turned Dray into an All-Defensive player. Steve fumbling all of these young guys, just looks bad. He has the rings ofc….but idk man.
Hope Suns steal him away. Putting up empty calorie stats on the kings in no man’s land next to fvcking Lavine isn’t gonna do shit for him. Booker & his former teammate in Green with the right coach could be far better
Steve Kerr's system is outdated and ancient really fast. The system that only benefits Steph.
Failed Poole
Failed Klay
Failed Looney
Now Failing Kuminga
Next Failure Moody
No wonder nobody wants to go there
had to pause the video to comment this. Steve Kerr knowing the time that Kuminga should be subbed in, choosing no to do it despite the fact that he was playing well so there was no strong reason to not play him, turn around and say "I'm also not playing him later cause he's been sitting a while" despite being the mfer that caused it, then losing the game….makes me understand why Kuminga did what he did.
"You didnt see it because you didnt want to see it."
Steve Kerr flashes back to the warning signs of his former teammate Dennis Rodman Marrying himself and going on a honeymoon to North Korea
Or, and I know this might be hard to believe, but maybe the two timelines thing failed because these guys aren’t very good.
Anything that ruins them.
Why am I supposed to care about a role player on the Warriors?
Oooookkkkk so maybe a few of you here are young and don’t understand analytics lol you can say what you want but every stats shows Kerr has failed this young man. Dating back to the 23-24 season we’ve seen jk come in and totally change games (see Denver before jokic hit the half court game winner) and Kerr leaves him on the bench. Kerr is stubborn and leans on his vets too much. Steph is generational but he needs help. Everything can’t be look for Steph. When Steph is out jk puts up crazy numbers. Fact is if jk was so bad the dubs wouldn’t be hell bent on keeping him or getting back fair return. Y’all gotta get out y’all feelings and read tea leaves. The warriors see him work and they know what kind of talent he is. I’ve long said he has a Tracy mcgrady trajectory. His per 36 minutes numbers are better than anyone in his draft class. Kerr fudged this up big time! If I were JK I’d sign for the QO and leave in FA next year. I’d bet on myself. Half of you people wouldn’t understand that cause y’all soft and do what people tell you to lol
Once Curry retire from NBA, GSW will be bottom of the barrel for very long time. People forget how bad they were as a franchise before splash brothers
