So some of you might remember that the Pirates were supposed to play a regular season series against the Marlins in Puerto Rico to honor Clemente, but it was cancelled due to emerging concerns about the Zika virus at that time.

Does anyone know if MLB plans on trying that again?

Watching the Speedway classic makes me hope the Pirates can get a neutral site game like that in the future (besides the Little League one).

  1. Idk that theyd try cancelling a game over Zika virus again unless there’s enough Zika virus.

  2. Holy crap, that must’ve been during period of time I wasn’t paying attention because that’s the first I’ve heard of it. It’s actually not a bad idea, I hope they revisit it.

  3. San Juan seems like the perfect city for an MLB team. Never understood why they don’t have one.
