Seen so many complaining about the event. It sucked getting rained out and having to drive back to Knoxville, but we had such an awesome time Sunday sitting wherever we wanted and enjoying perfect weather. People both days were really fun to talk to and even with opposing fan bases everyone around was getting along and enjoying the atmosphere. Cool touches with the Corvette driving around and special unis

  1. My boss’ daughter snagged some cheap seats Sunday and said she had fun, so it looks like you’re at least one of two.

  2. My wife and I had a blast, honestly. Hilarious people watching, got to explore a really cool venue, and got to chat with some nice folks.

This was my 38th different “ballpark” for an MLB game. Cheers

  3. It sold like 90k tickets, and honestly was probably way more fun in person. The rainout sucked but for those who got to go the next day had a blast im sure

  4. feels like most of the people trashing on it were the ones that didnt go irl lmao

  5. If I would have gone, rain or not I would have ate acid. That way no matter what the play on the field is interesting.

  6. Hopefully they let the Bananas play there, so we can see what it would look like sold out.

  7. I doubt youre the only one, but I uad no clue how to watch it, all this blackout bullshit is insane. There shoulf be an option to just go above the blackout games and pay 40$ more or something.

Instead I sat outside on a gorgeous day and hung with my wife and listened so *THAT* was fun.

Im usually good with the streams, but FUCK Im getting old. All my old streamer places are no more.

  8. I had fun. Saturday from 7:30-11 PM really sucked but the rest of the day, fan zone, exploring the track, pregame pomp and circumstance etc. was really fun. Sunday turned out to be very pleasant and the fans near us were cool to talk too. Driving back to Indy after the game wasn’t the best but we got to stop at Buc-cee’s so it wasn’t awful.

  9. Had a great time both days. Baseball is fun, baseball in cool locations is even more fun. Was it perfect? Hell no. But people relentlessly complaining about it need to lighten the hell up.

  10. As baseball fans, we love baseball to stay the way it was when we found it. This stretched our thoughts on what baseball could be meaning we’re looking for ways to bring it down. Seems like it was really cool. We very specifically watched this game (on TV) because of the unique setting. For a massive rain delay on a single-day event, they seem to have handled it well.
