Hey everyone, welcome to Kempner Kox. My name is Rev Trev and I’m so glad you’re here because right now we are doing the HKY jersey reveal. I’m going to talk about it in just a second. I’m going to hit the promo. We’re going to get it. I’m literally opening it. We’ll probably end up doing this. I’ve got two cameras that I’m recording off of right now. So, let’s see how this works. Hope you’re doing well. Hope your summer’s going great. But I can’t wait to see what’s in this. Let’s go. All right, everyone. It is summertime and if you haven’t already heard, I have gotten a code from HKY jerseys and I am absolutely excited. Now, some of you are sitting here and going, “Rev, how do you get one of these codes?” Well, you what you do is you follow HKY jersey on X, aka Twitter. By the way, why is this twisted around? Okay. HKY on Twitter and you post your size when they drop their monthly uh jersey. You you post your size and they pick random people and give out codes. I’ve been trying for months to get these codes and finally finally I got a code and I’ve been waiting for a while and I got it. So there is all kinds. Now, some of you are sitting here and going, “Revt, like, how do you like what kind of options are?” Oh, by the way, right away, we’ll we’ll we’ll dive in because I feel like I’m not explaining it well yet. Okay, so uh let me just bring this up. So, this is what it is. Okay, so there is all kinds of jerseys you can get. You pay $85. That’s it. $85 American, which turned out to be for me um with shipping, with exchange, with uh everything else that it was $144 Canadian. Okay. So, my reasoning is, listen, a jersey nowadays with no name, no numbers is $200. So, my uh my thought is listen, we’re going to get something worth more than $144 Canadian and uh we’re going to see what it is. So, I’ve been waiting. Now, some of you have been asking, Rev Trev, what’s in these? What’s the options? So, number one is the signed NHL jersey with with a uh certification of authenticity. So, that’s the number one. Now you can see on the graphics that it’s uh Sarovski um Bdard Celabbrini Nissa uh Schaefer those two ones last two are their CHL jerseys signed. Those are that’s the number one you can get. Hardest ones probably to get. Then the next one is the Fanatics premium um jersey. That those are really nice as well. They’re they’re quite expensive, difficult to get. Um, and then the one that I’m hoping for is definitely a fournations jersey. Okay. So, if I got a team Canada, a team Sweden, a team um, Finland, a team USA, I I think that would just be really cool. They’re hard to find. I would be thrilled. Okay. Um, by the way, you know what’ be really ironic? You know, you guys know that I kind of have been very critical of Person’s play for the last year and a half. Imagine if I pulled a team Sweden Elias Patterson jersey that I mean so many of you that follow my channel would be absolutely dying laughing. Okay, but imagine if I got a team Canada jersey. I’d be so thrilled. Okay, but any one of them I’d be having. The fourth option is the Winter Classic or Reverse Retro or the Stadium Series. Any one of those would be fantastic, amazing, phenomenal. And then you can just get a an NHL jersey with the name on it, which uh I’ve got a number of jerseys already, but and then the last one is just a blank jersey. So my I I’ll I’ll be quite honest with you right now. Okay, you’re like, Rev Trev, what do you think you’re going to pull now? Post in the predict in in the thing right now. What are you predicting that I’m going to pull? Okay, post it right now in the comments. What do you think I’m going to pull from this from this jersey I bought? posted in right now. There’s a whole bunch of people already here in the live chat as well watching. You’re gonna be watching later. So, um I mean there is going to say there’s so many people going to say it’s different things. I love that there’s all these different ones in here. Okay. Now, I just want to premise I cannot stand the Calgary Flames. I cannot stand the Calgary Flames. Okay. So, if I get a Calgary Flames jersey, I’m telling you right now, I’m throwing it in the garbage. Literally, I cleaned out my garbage that throw if if I get a Calgary jersey, I have no idea what I’m getting. If I if I if I get a jersey from the Calgary Flames, the most hated team, I’m throwing it in the garbage right now. I’m telling you right now. Now, I’m not a big fan of Boston, but I would love a Zidorov jersey as well. I mean, I love Zidor. I miss him in Vancouver, right? What would be epic is if I got a JT Miller jersey for the New York Rangers or if I got a Bard jersey or the Blackhawks. I mean, who doesn’t like Baddard? So, I I’m I’m very nervous about opening this. I I’ve been waiting for a while to get this jersey. I’ve been thinking about it, talking to my my wife is probably so annoyed how much I’ve asked her. I wonder I’m going to get what am I going to get? Okay, so here we are. Okay, so basically, it’s anything but a Calgary Flames jersey. I know I’m not a big fan of the California Golden Seals jerseys. Okay, so I don’t want any of those. It would be so cool if it was a Quebec Nordik’s jersey. If it was a Hartford Whalers jersey. Uh the new Kings jerseys are cool. Um I mean there’s so many. Imagine if I got a Ovetkin jersey. That would be awesome. Um anything it would be so neat. I And of course as a Conucks fan would be awesome to land any kind of Quinn Hughes. Um I mean Demco would be great. There would just be it would just be awesome. So, I hope that it’s going to be something that I’m going to like. I’m very nervous that it’s going to be something I’m going to be disappointed in. So, I know I’ve been talking for a few minutes regarding this and some of you just like just get into it. Have you posted in the comments yet which one you think I’m going to land? Uh because you need to do that. Okay. Uh, I love how Shannon said, “I’m going to get a uh Oh, Steve got the the Ericson number 21 Canucks because he won that one time.” And so now, thanks, Steve. Uh, but Shannon says, “A Bo Horvette jersey.” So, are you thinking Canucks? Probably you’re thinking um Islanders. How ironic would that be, right? Uh, uh, my friend Peter’s uh, saying Flames Winter Classic Markstrom. Uh going to be restitch my I’m going to Oh, he’s going to restitch his Miller number nine and get number 91 Kane. That’s cool. Um could you imagine Monty? Hey, can Knox Messier uh uh that’s going in the trash can too. Um so yeah, it’s going to be it’s going to be interesting. I would love to. So I I don’t know. I have this weird feeling I’m going to get disappointed. But I’m really hoping I’ve seen people pull the black um Buffalo Sabres jersey, Dominic Hassich, that would be awesome. If I could get a Luke Robbitai and Eric Lindros uh Flyers, that would be cool. But Luke Robbitai, um even if it was Detroit, man, imagine a eerman, you know, we’re just going on. Okay, so people are like, get to the jersey. God, here it is. Here it is. I could talk all day about the jerseys. By the way, I did a video on this. All the jerseys I’d like to do from all the other teams. So, here we go. Here we go. Okay. I don’t want to want to wreck the jersey. So, we’re going here. And apparently, if it’s a gold packaging, it means uh it means a um it means that it is a No, it’s not. It’s It means that it’s a certified one. So, Oh my gosh. Oh my goodness, guys. This is crazy. Rev Trev with a Are you kidding me right now? Are you kidding me? A New Jersey Devils. New Jersey Devils. Okay, this has already started better. Okay, Jack Hughes, uh, Heir, Scott Stevens, Martin Berd. Let’s see if there’s any numbers on it. If there’s no numbers, that will be a bit disappointing. It’s It says 95. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. This Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Is there anything on it? Nope. No number. No number, guys. That’s disappointing. But But look at this. This is These are all the cup. Oops. I got this here. These are all the cup parts. Okay. So 95 2000 2003 when they won the cup. It’s pretty nice. It’s pretty nice. It’s a fanatics jersey. I don’t know if you can see this. I don’t know. All righty. So all that wondering. I was really hoping there would be a number on it, but this is still nice. This is still nice. Beautiful. I don’t know. What do you guys think? What do you guys think? like, oh, I just wanted one with at least some kind of a number. So, um, yeah. So, this is what I got. This is what I got. So, this is a sign that either the Hughes brothers are coming. Okay, the Hughes brothers are coming or or Quinn Hughes is going there. Okay, and I don’t know which one to say. So, this is what it looks like, everyone. My goodness. Well, all that waiting, all that wondering, here we are. Just a plain jane fanatics New Jersey Devils jersey. It It’s It’s nice material, but I wish it was a Brod jersey. Like, honestly, really like no name. I guess that’s the risk you take, right? nothing there. I’m glad it wasn’t like a a Darnell Nurse um Oilers jersey or anything like that. So, I mean, I could go get whatever I wanted on this and pay the I mean, nowadays, you got to pay $125 to get all the names and numbers on it. I could do that, but then that jersey ends up turning into from $144 Canadian, it turns into something else. So, let’s see. Maybe maybe I’ll just hold on to it. If Hughes ends up going there, I’ll just put Hughes on the back. Um but I don’t think he’s going I don’t think he’s getting traded there, everyone. That’s that’s my thing. So this is it. So good news is no Calgary Flames jersey, but Rev Trev gets a New Jersey Devils jersey. It’s not the Flames. It’s not the Flames. So So yeah, that that’s it. That’s that’s the jersey right here, everyone. A little anticlimatic. Little anticlimatic for sure. Um I wish it was a Four Nations jersey, but yeah, we got we got this. We got this. So, we got number six of the options. Okay. Number six of the options. It’s still nice. Still nice. the logo is I don’t know if you can see this, but it’s more of like a it’s not um it it’s I wouldn’t say it’s like like when I have my Conucks jerseys like you have all the stitching and everything. This is no stitching inside of it. It’s just on the outside. So So yeah, this is what I got. This is what I got. Interesting, isn’t it? Ah, well, this is what I got. All righty. All righty. So, all right. I’m going to dive into some comments. So, I’m just going to turn this camera off and get into your comments. Uh, right. Rev Trev wearing a Devil’s jersey. I know, I know, I know. Um, Shannon loves the jersey. Um, Monty says, “Not bad. Nice design. You’d likely would have never bought that on your own.” Nope. I would not have. Uh, Shannon, the the way you get it is, we already talked about this at the beginning on X when they drop their monthly thing. You got to put uh you got to follow HKY jersey and post the size of your of the jur of of your jersey that you fit into. Post your post your size um and when they do their monthly drops. So there were as you can see there was six different options on the other side. So yeah, anyways it is what it is. Okay, let’s get into some more comments. Uh it’s not the flames. That’s right. Uh, seeing that jersey triggers the PTSD from the 6-0 loss game I went to. Sorry about that, Alfred. Um, Sean, my friend Sean says, “Are Rev can wear a Devil’s jersey.” Wow. Yeah, absolutely. Um, uh, let’s see what else you guys have said here. Okay. Okay. Sean, that’s hilarious. Uh, Callum says, “I could use that jersey as a towel in my bathroom.” That’s true. Green is here. Says, “It’s a new jersey.” Great way to start. Yeah, right. Um, maybe use it for toilet paper giving the current Rutherford created stitch with the Oh, I know. My sister-in-law would love it if I got a Conor McDavid Oilers one. Uh, the cost was $85 US with exchange, with shipping, with all the taxes. It came to $144 Canadian. Put it on. Yep, I need to put it on. Uh, Kelly says, “Rev Trev is dancing with the devils.” I don’t dance with the devil, but uh, I stomp on him. That’s how we do it. Let’s go. Let’s go. Um, but yeah. All right. So, let’s see if this bad boy fits well. So, we’ll we’ll see. I’ll just be back in one second here. One second. Oh man, this is crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy. Fits perfectly. Fits absolutely perfectly. Don’t think I never thought I would actually wear one of these. Look at this. Woo. So, yeah, I’ll have to put it down here a little bit more. Hey, at least it matches the Kempner Conucks hat. Okay, at least it matches. Um, h I was hoping I was hoping everyone it was going to be a jersey with a number. That’s disappointing, honestly. Green says, “Put Nemire on the jersey closest comp to Hughes that played with New Jersey.” Good point. Good point. I I’m not going to wear it to a Conucks game. Forget it. Forget it. Um yeah, looks good on me. Thanks, guys. Um all it matters is it wasn’t a Coyote Flames jersey. Brod would be a great choice for sure. To pump up the possibility in your pod, do a video on the three goals in one minute. Come back against Dallas Stars. Yeah, it’s true. Angelo says, “It’s a it’s a it’s a sick a slick jersey.” A slick jersey. So, you didn’t think I would ever be wearing a different jersey on my channel. Here I am. Uh, it looks pretty good. Looks pretty good. I’m I’m I mean, the colors are fine. The logo’s fine. Yeah, there was so many so many better options in the way of everything was better than this one in the way of it just being um no number. No number. I didn’t mind that it wasn’t a signature. That doesn’t bother me at all. Uh even though a Bard signed would be cool. Um I don’t care about uh signatures as much. But man, if I could have pulled a four nations, the question is, the question is, the real question is, would I do this again? And I don’t know. I don’t know uh at this stage because this was kind of something that I was hoping that it would be something else, you know what I mean? So, that was disappointing, but um but people say I’m looking sharp. Thank you, Kelly. Um, the numbers in the green representing the years of Angels won the cup is nice touch. Got to admit. Uh, Angels you mean? Oh, Angels, not Devils. Um, yeah, I would totally want a Lango jersey. Canucks or Florida? That would have been epic for sure. Um, I do realize it’s the Devils. Yep, I do realize that. Thank you for pointing out the obvious, Callum. Okay. Yeah, I I if you watch my other video, I was saying that I would love to get a Lango Florida jersey. That would be really cool. I would definitely wear that around. Uh that would be really neat. So, so yeah, this is it. And I, by the way, back from vacation. I had a very restful vacation, a great time with family. And here’s the other thing that’s crazy is I got um I had a day on the lake with uh friends. A friend of ours has a property right on the lake. Had an awesome night with friends tonight. Told them about this. Told them that this was going to be happening. So this is what we got. This we got. So, we got a a a New Jersey Devils New Jersey Devils uh jersey from HKY jersey drop. I saw someone get a signed Dino Ciserelli one in from May. Um there’s so many awesome ones that are out there. This one is This one is there. So, a mystery uh one. So, $85 US for a mystery jersey seems fair. I agree. Uh who is my favorite player? My favorite player of all time is Pavo Bur, but I absolutely love these players as well. Eric Lindro is my second favorite player of all time, but Pavo Bur Kuck Pav Bur was why I fell in love with the Canucks that he was amazing. So, uh, Kuck Pavl Buret, uh, even Florida doesn’t matter. I just he’s my favorite player of all time. Eric Lindra was my sec second favorite player. Uh, used to be Luke Robbitai is my third. I think that Ovetchkin now has become my third favorite player. Uh Luke Robbitai is one of my favorites for sure, but I just love a ton of Kox. I mean over the years you got Naslin, you got Bertusi, um you’ve got uh Lango, Jovanoski. Um so many great players like I love love the Twins. Um they they’re such uh solid players. Versier Gino Oic you name it. Uh, I like him. Um, there’s so many great players from the Canucks. So, yeah. So, this is what it’s like. So, so yeah, those are some of my favorites, but if you would have I mean there’s so many great players like Nicholas Lidstrom or imagine like I would loved it if I had landed a McKinnon jersey. Um, yeah. What do you guys think? Do you think that I should get another one of these or do you think that I should just like That was not great. Um, let me know. Uh, it’s like speed dating but it’s for a jersey. So, so which players have played on the Canucks that have gone to the Devils? That’s a great question. Um, I can’t think of any off top of my head. Was it Ripen? Oh, yeah. Rick Ripen would be an awesome one. Um, Finnstad’s wanted me to read the scripture. Kirk Mlan. Oh, I I’d love a Kirk Mlan. Um, I love watching him grow up. Messo. Yeah, absolutely. Um, Curtis Lazar was the one of the guys went to the to the the Devils for sure from Kox. Um, Melni, huge, huge, right? Love watching him play Hall of Famer. Now, that would have been cool. You know what would have been really awesome? If I got a white JT Miller Orca, that would have been awesome. That would have been awesome. I’m just so glad I didn’t get a a Calgary Flames jersey. Just saying. Okay. So, I was hoping Rev would get a JT Miller jersey. Uh, not Four Nations. Uh, well, I have the blue one already and the black skate one. So, I just need the white one because I want to go to that game in October, even though I don’t think I can afford it right now, but I would love to go and wear all three jerseys. Uh, one for every period. Uh, so white Orca is the one I need next. That’d be cool. Interesting listening to de Brusk on 100% Canucks. Yes, it’s been um it’s been interesting to hear him.
