Yes I wil never be purchasing this game

And yes I fuckin hate this cover but that’s not the main reason why I won’t be buying this game

What are your thoughts on the cover? Personally i think it’s a little lazy and just like everything else EA sports it doesn’t seem like they put much work into it

  5. I agree I’m not buying this game at all and feels very lazy and seems like they are just gonna try bate us like they did in nhl 25 I don’t believe in this current content team at all

  6. I dislike him as much as the next Lightning fan but it’s hard to deny that he’s becoming one of if not the face of the sport. Makes total sense they’d want to promote him especially since he hasn’t been on one before

  7. I won’t buy another NHL game until they do something different. It’s a copy/paste every single year. I bet the be a pro is gonna have that same opening sequence it’s had for the last like 3 years.

  8. i actually know the person that designs the cover arts for all EA games. she isn’t the person who chooses what player goes on the cover tho. i don’t think she watches hockey. i know she watches football (big 49ers fan).

  12. Haven’t bought an NHL game in a few years now. Same recycled garbage year after year. Now the cover has garbage on it too. Kinda impressive

    I have most of the sport games – but they are all over the place from a date perspective. I think ‘21 is what I have for NHL..pretty sure Ovechkin on that cover?

  16. I’m a bit sad that NHL isn’t coming to Switch… but partly because of the cover, at the same time I’m glad I don’t have a new-gen console to play it 😅

  17. I’m not an Oilers fan, I’m a Habs fan to those Panthers or anti-Oilers cucks that claim me to be an Oiler

    I hated this prick when he was on the Flames. I hate him now on the Panthers. It’s hard to describe the kind of shitbag he is. He’s along for the ride contributing the bare minimum and acts like he’s the sole reason his team wins

    Could’ve picked the Rat King. Could have picked the Conn Smythe winner (Bennett). Could have picked the Calder Trophy winner (Hutson). Could have picked Bobrovsky. Could have picked so many players, and they picked the one that talks the loudest

    Next year, if Demidov plays amazingly and is as expected or more, they better pick him for the cover and that’ll make me slightly forgive them

  21. Like if they’re just going to make it whoever won the Stanley Cup last year and a key player from that team then make it standard every single year.

  23. Also, if Budweiser can figure out how to make sure every team city has the logo on its local beer, I’m sure they could find a way to ship a design per Major franchise and everyone gets a cover every year

  25. I’ve been boycotting nhl games mainly one is because I don’t play them as much as I used to and two they suck ass
