Is Jamal Murray or Aaron Gordon the Nuggets second-most important player? | DNVR Nuggets Podcast

[Music] Get down. [Music] All right. Oh my god. We back one day. And we’re back. We back in the What’s going on everybody? Welcome into the DVR Nuggets podcast. We are live on a Monday. Beautiful Monday in Denver, Colorado. What a beautiful day in uh Denver. It’s always it’s always lovely in the same temperature in my office. I’ve noticed every day is the same day. Uh it’s nice and cool in here though in uh the studio. Very excited for today’s show. Got a lot to get to and uh to start everybody’s week off on the right foot. I’m Harrison Win joined by Dline. That’s right, guys. I bought a uh a steam cleaning hat cleaner. If you notice, my hat looks cleaner than it should. I like that Di. Guess where I got it. Tik Tok. Let’s go. Nobody gets influenced more by targeted uh weird like seller ads than DIY. I didn’t realize I was so impressionable. But also, I didn’t realize how many products were missing from my life. Yeah. If you’re running targeted ads out there, target them at this guy. Listen, man. Don’t buy anything. No, not anything. It has to be the right thing. But I will buy that. And we also got Brennan Bow in the house. I never buy anything. I don’t have I don’t own anything. I can’t express that enough. Like that’s it’s so easy to move. I’m like, well, I got my three bags of clothes. It’s actually Dline and my wife who get influenced the most of the people I We talk about it. Yeah, I’m sure you do. I I every day I have 10 text messages of, “Can you pick up the package from the package room?” I swear to God, she gets 10 packages a day. Yeah. I don’t know how she does it. That is true. When I moved in with my girlfriend, it was like another one. It’s insane. Where are they coming from? It’s actually insane. And do it all at once. But the thing is, she gets away with it because she returns half the stuff. No, not me. Uh, my policy is that if I buy it, uh, I’m stuck with it. You know what I mean? Like if I get the wrong size, I’m like, well, I screwed up. Sometimes you’re turning shirt. I’m just like, well, I need to I need to learn, you know? I got to learn. Steam cleaner hat. I I like that. I like that. Uh, you guys do anything else fun this weekend? Uh, I attended the pickle ball tournament. That’s right, dude. We had a packed weekend at DMV events, but I saw you guys won at least one game. So, what happened was my brother and I showed up. We ran into an absolute buzzsaw. We got decimated in the first match. Really? Oh gosh. Well, it turns out the top You have to do a naked lap. No, but the Is that Is there a pickle ball equivalent? Um, just being eliminated from your pool. But then we won the second match, but it was already a fate, a complete because that the buzzsaw ran through our pool. So, we were eliminated by going one and one. But then Adam and I just for fun um played a couple of our professed fans. They’re like, “Hey, Adam. Hey, Dline. What’s up?” And then we just beat the pants off of them. Yeah. That’s what you That’s what you get for appreciating their work. I I got I had a like I had a volley. I I nutmeged him right through the legs. I was like, “Let’s go. That’s never meet your hero. Never face off against your kind of mean at pickle. They’re mean on the pickle ball court. They’re mean people. Yeah. Yeah. You’re like I like it. Pickle bell sounds cute. You know playing pickle ball. Very very uh angerfilled. I love that. We had that pickle ball tournament. We had a Rocky’s game. We were all We had Benny’s film room live at the bar which was great. A packed weekend. I didn’t do anything uh other than that though. I saw the Tesky trucks band at Red Rocks. was actually probably one of the three or four Saturday concerts I’ve ever seen here. Anything at Red Rocks, it’s just like it gets moved up five to 10. This isn’t even I mean, I like it, but it’s not, you know, I’m not throwing it on Saturday morning like by myself, but this was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. The straight aura. Uh Derek Trucks, if you’ve seen him play guitar live, there’s a good chance that’s the best guitar player you’ve ever seen. He’s unbelievable. Dang. Good. I’m jealous. Um not a lot happened in Nuggets Land over the weekend. We are in the dog days of the offse the dog days that I was thinking about stuff we get hit on the show, you know, over the weekend and it it’s been a real light news week or news weekend and I I don’t really mind it. But um we’ve got Eurobasket coming up. I think Serbia is playing in some exhibition games soon. Yoke should be joining the team soon. May maybe this week. I think today actually was the first day where NBA players can join their international team. So, that’s to look forward to. But, um, yeah, no real Nuggets news and notes to get to from over the weekend. Um, we can just go into our first segment, though. We got a little buy or sell. Whoa. With Eric, is this is this originating in on TikTok? Cuz I’m buying put him down for all of it. I’ve come up with some, you know, some nugget storylines that we can talk about and if we’re, you know, buying or selling them. Okay. At this point in the offseason, I’m excited for this. If I sell it, do I do I walk away from here with like money? Yeah. Okay. That’s how it works. All right. This is monetarily based. In that case, I’m out on all You’re like, I’m selling. Yeah. Get to sell. Our first buy or sell item up uh for Wait, we should go through the uh rating categories. Oh, we have rating categories. Harrison, this is a structured game. So, okay, let’s let’s see what Kale’s got here. You have cell. Okay, sell. That’s pretty straightforward. Sort of a mixed metaphor with the uh thermometer, but whatever. We’re good. We have wait wait and see. Okay, wait and see. Okay, that’s another category. We have buy now. Buy now. Buy now. Okay. And we have let’s go. Let’s go. That is I’m buying sooner than now. Holy smokes. Okay. All right. Uh, what are we buying, selling, and selling first, Kell? Let’s see here. Buy or sell the year of Jamal Murray. This is the Dline special. You’ve been on this. I have been on this. You think this is the year of Jamal Murray this upcoming season? Yeah, dude. Fool me once, shame on me. Or shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me eight times. Yeah, shame back on you. I’m starting to relate to the movie Groundhog Day. Hang on. You’re trying to sell me insurance again. All right. So, I was thinking about this. My biggest question, because I know you’re buying this. My biggest question I think I’m buying it and I’m selling it to everybody else. I don’t know how that works. My biggest question about this is how was this different than last year? Um, it’s a great question. I think that we’re all very um I would say tentative when it comes to buying the year of Jamal Murray just based on the fact that it’s never happened before. and um he’s older now. Yeah. So, all that being said, listen, man, things have changed around Nuggets Nation. Nuggets Land is different entirely. I just feel like there’s something to be said about uh he does not have the coach in his corner like he has in years past. He does not have the implied uh support system that was in place for him. Sure, that makes sense. Again, I don’t I hate to have to keep bringing this up. I did see him throwing a football. He threw a football. actually caught a football. I don’t know if he threw a football, but he caught a football. Uh I saw him with his shirt off and it looked good to me. Perfect. Well, that takes care of that conversation. No, but really truly, I mean, I really just think it’s uh in in a very serious sense. Like I think that he’s healthy, you know? I think that there’s a good chance that he should by all rights come in to camp with good momentum. Not you can’t say like oh the last time you expected him to come into camp healthy it was like after the um championship and like then we were like well you know he maybe celebrated a little bit too much took too much down time that’s a shorter off season of course so like and then it’s like well he was kind of injured blah blah blah this one it’s like dude there’s nothing there’s no excuse here zero excuse you have a whole new uh crop of people that you have to impress new teammates new fully new coaching staff um and so I do feel like there is external pressure on him that has not existed before and I just think he’s really good and it’s obnoxious and unacceptable that no year has been the year of Jamal Marie to this point. I I like that part of it. I mean he has become a little underrated I’d say just in the the Nuggets fan base. Yes. I think if you’re going to construct an argument about this being the Jamal Murray where you start is something you hit on. This is his first fully healthy off season, you know, since the championship. Yes, that that’s where you can start. He’s had some injuries. He’s had, you know, the team Canada thing the last couple years. This year, there’s no excuses with that. He is fully healthy. He has been healthy this off season. And that’s I think where you can start with the argument of is this potentially the year of Jamal Murray? I I if you were to argue if you were buying it, I would say if I were selling it to you, buy I’m buying it. I would say buy now. Also, there’s a bench in theory. Yeah. So, that you can just take in theory five of his minutes per game. On paper, thank you, buddy. That have been that have been feudal at best to this point and say, what if they were also productive minutes? Could that be enough of a bump to say All-Star team? For sure. But he he also just like the way that he is. I mean, it’s just you you you go back to the beginning of every season. It’s like, really, dude? Nine points. You scored nine points. We’re like, you you went two of 24 or whatever. It’s like these starts to these seasons are like, what is this? Like, who who are you? What? Like, why do we have to do this every year? Why do you have to play yourself into shape? you hear I mean like now that we are in the age of the podcast unfortunately we’re members of that but like the age of the ex player podcast everybody’s got a pod these days the age of the podcast the age of the ex player podcast is the worst because sorry did you see our guy Derek White starting a podcast now it didn’t look like his heart was in it I’m not going to lie I’m just going to say I love you Derek White questionable move I think you can tell your managers noget I think you can tell your managers and agents no we don’t need any more player podcasts at some point your manager will come in and say, “Hey, I have this white nephew. I guarantee you guys could do a show together. I guarantee we will make more player.” Just say just say no. Just say no. But the largest point being is like you hear now a lot of now that people are have been out of the league for a certain amount of time and they don’t really care anymore and they’ll just be like, “Yeah, man. I don’t care about that.” Like I didn’t I got into shape as the season went on. Like I wasn’t trying to spend my summer getting in shape. And that’s I don’t think like that uncommon of a mindset in the NBA. I I hope it’s kind of changing because of all of the external pressure coming from the fact that the game is becoming more global and there are like a lot more people that are qualified and at the talent level to take NBA roster spots that people start to feel the pressure of like I really got to stay on my on my grind here. I like can’t let my let it down. But um like that’s not an uncommon thing for NBA players to be like I’m gonna get work myself into shape. I’m just hoping that like this is the time where Jamal Murray’s like I’m gonna just show up because like I’m tired of people calling me fat. Yeah. I I don’t buy the like he’s heard the noise. It hasn’t worked out because there was also noise last summer. But I the noise mostly being coming from inside the house like it’s the not happy with the shape. I guess we’re like it’s it’s it’s like not just us. You’re right. You’re right. being babies about it. It’s uh the fact that it’s the teammates saying sort of like, “Hey, man, like we’re trying to do something here.” It does feel it does almost feel stamped now by on record quotes as something more than just podcasters maybe being disgruntled, you know? Sure. Um yeah, but I’m with you, Harrison. I don’t know if that’s going to but maybe maybe playing with the bench 15 times. Shame on me. Exactly. But I’m thirst. Well, every couple years one of us has to declare it the year Jamal. It was me a couple years now. You were wrong. You were so wrong. I was I had a terrible take. Where is Eric? Very confident. It was definitely not the Urge Murray 2 years ago. I’ve never seen such a foolish. That was a myth. Well, when you launched, you launched it at a time where people would let you launch it. You launched at a time where people would buy that, right? Coming off the title. I thought I had a great a great uh narrative that I was trying to share. People were like, I will hear this argument. I thought I was going to hit that out of the park. It would have been great if you What an absolute fool. I cannot imagine looking as dumb as you look. Um, but yeah, I do think the bench is is is something that could go into it being the Jamal as well. And look, I kind of feel like regardless of the amount of minutes he plays, maybe he plays a couple less minutes per game. His stats will probably look about the same, but it’s about the the consistency night to night. Yeah. It’s about, you know, just what exactly, you know, he he’s doing out there in terms of the lineups, in terms of who he’s playing with. Um, does he want to be that stagger with the bench unit again? Is that what David Adams think? And all those things will go into it. But I think the ingredients are definitely there more so this year. I agree. Definitely more so than last year for it to be the year. It’s funny cuz it’s a year better to make an the argument right now because the tools on paper look better, but everyone is a year more exhausted than the argument. So, good luck. I’m going to just turn it into it’s a year of Jamal Murray. You can’t definitely be a year of You played You played It’s already somehow been in options in Yeah. Um, let’s hit a break. We’ll go to our other buy or sells on the other side. I got four more lined up. Let’s go for you guys to either buy declared that’s coming up. Let’s please stay tuned. Please. I’m buying cake mortgage. Cake knows Well, first of all, they know about the DSCR loan game, but they know a lot about it. The Kale, get me a Dcr loan, please. Yeah, Kale with some ice. No, that’s actually not what it is. Uh DSR loans, DSCR loans are debt service coverage ratio loans designed for individuals who wish to invest in real estate. And who knows, by the end of that journey, you could own several sports teams. And uh no one will know what it sounds like when you talk. KDS DSCR loans are calculated by dividing the property’s monthly rental income by its monthly mortgage payment, making things easier for self-employed and investor clients who are creditw worthy but misunderstood by those traditional banks. It’s based on cash flow, not paperwork. So if you’ve always dreamed about owning income property or you’re building your real estate legacy, call 1800 Eat Cake or head to the link in the show description. Life is better with Cake. It is fun, man. It’s a riot with Vololo Sports. Um, like a riot as in you’re playing beer pong and flip cup and getting really drunk. People are rioting. We have to ask them to calm down. You play kickball at City Park over there. They’ve got leagues for every sport throughout the city. Soccer, volleyball, pickle ball, kickball, basketball, cornhole, and many more. Maybe cornhole is the the sport for me to get into. I think so. You should do it. And then uh don’t tell Adam about it. Yeah. Actually, have you tried the uh flick and spin technique? I’m actually undefeated. Adam is very good at cord hole. exactly the kind of thing and then he’ll tell you about it. Yeah. You can play in Loto, Rhino, Highland, City Park, Cherry Creek, South Broadway, wheat, leagues, and more. You can sign up as a free agent, small group or full team. Use the code DMDR10 for $10 off any below Denver league. All right, back here on the DMV Nuggets podcast. Buy or sell. That’s what we’re doing today on the show on this Monday afternoon. Let’s go to our next topic here. Are we buying or selling Bruce Brown as a capable backup point guard? It’s a great question. What do you guys think? I love the graphic so much, too. Kell, you look dapper, buddy. The three-piece. Wow. I see. Here’s the thing. I want to be like on this micro point, I’m selling. Mhm. But that doesn’t mean I’m selling Bruce Brown in the bench. Does that make sense? Yes. Yeah, that does. I don’t think it’s going to shake out that way. So, I I’ll give that answer. I’ll Yeah. There. Thanks, Kale. I think Bruce can fill this role sort of by in a default way more than uh that’s perfect. That’s ideal way and and I think we saw some of that last year. I also think Jamal’s going to stagger and that’s your point guard and then from there you have enough to build some competent lineups. So I’m buying Bruce Brown with the Nuggets off the bench. I think I’m selling understanding him as a backup point guard. Yeah. Yeah. like the way it’s phrased. Am I buying him being a capable point guard? Yes, I’m buying that. Yeah. Am I buying the the fact that I he’s an optimal point guard? I’m not. I’m just not like um I don’t know what it looks like. I feel like there’s going to be a lot of I just feel like the the bench in general is going to be sort of a mixand match proposition for most of the year. Um so I don’t know, man. I I’m really this is one of the things I’m most curious to see um as the season shakes out. I really just don’t have any kind of this is the one thing that makes me nervous about the bench um because I don’t really see him as a facilitator per se, right? But like and he’ll be playing a bunch of minutes without Yoki. Yeah, man. Um and so but is it like you know last time how much of a facilitator does he have to be? you know, is the bench enough where he can just kind of get the ball moving and then that it sort of take care takes care of itself. Um, so I’m I’m kind of like in a wait and see also because we we did see it be successful. We saw it be unsuccessful. Um, but it’s a whole new game, man. So, I don’t know. And as Kevy points out in the chat, you know, for whatever minor qualms we had about it throughout the year, it it it worked out. I We did win the championship. They did win the championship, which and I mean that that’s a reason to buy it for sure. Yeah. Is that is that like a if they win the championship, does that mean that he was a capable point guard? That’s my wait and see. And then if they win the title, come back to me. Probably. They they did win it, you know, with him as your quote unquote backup point guard. But if you remember in that season, I think in the regular season it was a little worse than we remember. I bet if we go back and watch, we were like, “No, we were frustrated about it.” I mean, they did go sign Reggie Jackson because they felt like it was somewhat of a buyout market. went deep into the buyout market, got Reggie Jackson, right? Reggie Jackson played, you know, right when he got here. They tried to make him a guy and, you know, once the playoffs came around, he really wasn’t. And it was just kind of Bruce. So, there was a big enough need for it that year that they felt like they needed somebody else. Maybe that happens again, you know, down the line later this season. We’ll see. But, um, I’m I’m I don’t I don’t know. Do we have a graphic for like cautiously buying like wait and see? I think is there a one above wait and see or is that just buy? Wait above wait and see. So I’m probably waiting and seeing. Exclamation point by now. But then you know you flward to the playoffs and Bruce looks great. You know he had an unbelievable playoff run because you’re you know just playing less minutes of bench guys and stuff. So, I’m probably buying it, but it is going to be like a little unconventional of a look if he is your quote unquote backup point guard. And the other thing is I think Bruce is a little worse than he was a couple years ago, right? Like he he’s a little older. Um he hasn’t played the most competitive basketball the last couple years. I think he can, you know, re-engage and lock in again and his intensity will be where the Nuggets need him to. But I just think overall he’s probably a little worse of a player than he was two years ago, too. Right. Right. I think the point guard like let’s say it’s it’s Murray is the first sub out because, you know, he’s going to eventually come back and play with the the bench. Yeah. You know, Bruce Brown’s on the floor for him then. And then in that capacity, point guard alongside Joic. I’m that I’m not I’m not worried about those minutes at all. I just almost wonder if is Bruce is some kind of different kind of guard. You know, like the screwdrivers you could put nine different types of heads into and fit whatever you need. Oh, yeah. I saw that on a Tik Tok. They had a good version of that. I used one this morning and I broke the lamp. Uh, but I did I did use it. You know what I mean? Like he’s a utility guy, I think, almost more than a This is exactly what he is. Yeah. Yeah. All right, let’s move on here. What else are we buying or selling? Let’s see. Buy or sell? The Nuggets are good enough defensively to win the championship. You know, we we’ve talked a lot about the offseason additions the Nuggets have made. Um, I think you can say, you know, Jonas Valentunas definitely an offensive addition. Tim Hardaway Jr. offensive. Bruce Brown, I think both ends of the floor. Defensively though, I think they’ll be better than they were last year. Um, I don’t think they’re, you know, a huge level up defensively from where they were last season. At least on paper. Mhm. Do you guys think they’re good enough defensively to win the championship? I’ll go first. Buy now. Bing bing bing bing. Buy now. Buy now. Buy now. I believe it, man. I think it’s true. I think that uh we’re going to get a better defensive season out of Christian Brown. I think we’re get a much better defensive season out of Peyton Watson. I think that Yonas Valenunis is going to prove to be a defensive anchor. Oh, really? Yeah. I don’t I mean, he’s a big guy that can defend the rim. I mean, he’s like a a traditional center. is a big guy and he that is meaningful like you you know like that’s kind of the role that DeAndre Jordan would come in and play but he’s much younger than DeAndre Jordan. Um there’s a lot of and then we have like the cadre of guys that could play the four all of them seem like to be they could be defensively minded. This is all on the bench obviously I’m not even talking the starters and you got Cam Johnson right there on I forgot about that but that’s definitely true as well. Like I just I to me I can see this team being um you know especially with all of the tweeners that they have which can be a problem offensively but can be an an absolute boon for you on defense uh because you have you know like Payton Watson playing the Nquille Alexander Walker slash um uh what’s the other guy’s name on Minnesota Jaden McDaniels role. Um, you know, do we see Don Holmes play? We He showed to be like pretty deaf um defensively. Not the big body. We just got like a bunch of guys that I feel like can can uh hold it down for us at least defensively for the bench and some of that can bleed over into the into the starting lineup. So, I I just think we have a lot better defenders in in house. I’m buying as well. And the big reason vote is just if you look last year to this year, I think they definitely upgraded some spots for sure, but last year they took the Thunder game seven. Yep. I think last year they were good enough defensively to win a championship and they weren’t that great throughout the regular season. Couldn’t agree more, Harrison. I mean, word for word what I was going to say. Yeah, I I I agree. I if you now look like there were there’s always more than one thing you can patch up, right? But walking out of game seven, if you had stopped me in my checks and said one thing can be magically better next year, your choice, defense as a whole, whatever that means, it just is better or this team has more depth. I would say give me the second one. Yeah. All day long. It’s the bigger reason they didn’t win the championship this year. For whatever reason, whether it was just the zone or everyone kind of agreeing to finally play defense for the first time all year, they got to the playoffs and I really didn’t think about it that much. I thought the zone was effective. I thought Christian was good on hardened in spots when he needed to be. Now, guarding SGA one-on-one proved to be a much different proposition for everyone. I still think it’s about depth. Um, when it comes to the defense though, like in the regular season, I think it’ll just be up to the guys like how good on defense do you want to be? Cuz I think a lot of last year, as much as there were personnel issues, I also think they just didn’t do it. They just didn’t want to do it. They just didn’t want to do it. So, will they want to do it with all the freshness abound? Yeah, I think they’ll want to do it more. I agree with you. Do you guys want to do it? I think they’ll be more excited to do it. Think about that. You said it so enthusiastic over and over several times. I just think having David Adelman will will lead to that. There’ll be more energy there. There’ll be a little bit of, you know, refocus there. But I still think throughout the regular season, there will be a lot of times more like, oh, they just really didn’t care about defense tonight and that’s why they lost. I think that will happen. But in the back of my mind, I will be thinking back to what we just saw in the playoffs last season and seeing how they locked in there after a very up and down regular season defensively. That was more down than up. And I’ll say to myself, look what they did in the playoffs last year. I think they can do that again. I agree to a higher degree. Which is not to paper over like there were deficiencies, there were holes, and they have to be better in the regular season to have just a a better season overall. They have to be and buy you some freshness so that you you don’t end up scraping in fourth quarters against Washington or whatever it is and then lose. Don’t get swept by the Wizards again. That too. I’m with you. I agree with all the points. Oh yeah. I didn’t even mention bringing on Bruce Brown. Bruce Brown. I mean, my god, there’s just I feel like there’s We’ve got defender. They We It doesn’t take a lot to upgrade your defense. You just need like one guy. One guy can change everything, you know? Like two guys, three guys. That’s you’re talking about that’s half of the team on the floor at any given time. Uh can we go to this buy or sell kale? Aaron Gordon is the second most important nugget. Whoa. From the year of Jamal Murray to this. This is a heater. This is a heater. 97 highing in. Go ahead. What do you got? I’m selling as much as I am. I have higher expectations for Murray than he has met in recent years. As many qualms and issues as I as I have articulated, I still think it is Jamal. I still think it is Jamal. Um the point guard center duo thing is just when they get it right, it’s it’s it’s as impactful as any tool in their box. And um I think AG is like his importance is almost more versatile. Uh it can come in different areas, right? Like and it can manifest in different ways, but at the end of the day, the Murray Joic twoman game is the tip of the spear. And when they won the title, um Murray and Yokic were on a level that I just think far surpasses every other element of winning a basketball game. Totally. And I like I mean really like if this is if this is the case if this we should have bought because he is the second most important nugget like we’re probably in trouble you know if it’s Aaron Gordon if it’s Aaron Gordon like we’re probably in a bad space if if that if it ends up being those two Joic and Aaron Gordon that represent our two best players um just because of the structure of of the way that they play basketball like that you know that means you’re not getting you know all of the things that Joic can do if he’s just feeding it to the guy in the dunker spot or in the corner waiting for that three. So I hope I mean again I think Dripping here says it the best. Cell in PN lovingly lovingly and yeah cuz it’s not by the way that he is the second most important or best player every single night. It’s it’s just I think even your negative feelings about Murray could reveal him to be the second most important player, right? Like one of the reasons why you don’t buy Denver to but because you could be the second best player without being the second most important player, right? That’s so nice. That’s exactly what Aaron Gordon is. He could easily be the second best player but not be the second most important player. Yeah. If I if I could play devil’s advocate for a second, what if you know the best thing for the Nuggets I I know they won the championship centered around the Jokic Murray twoman game, the best duo in the NBA and I still think it has the case to be. That’s the crux of why they won that championship. What if the best, you know, path for the Nuggets forward this year, the next couple years, is not to have the twoman game, you know, be the center of the stuff they do offensively, but to have more of a a pecking order where it’s Jokic and then you’ve got Jamal, Cam Johnson, Aaron Gordon on that second level. and they’re not so much as uh reliant and centered around the twoman game, but a more kind of diversified offensive approach like the one that, you know, we saw a lot once David Adelman took over last year. I think so. I mean, look, I think versatility as an offense is really, really important. I think making it hard for a defense to game plan or not get snake bitten by overcompensating, that kind of balance is so important throughout a season. And then I just the playoffs sometimes it can sometimes it can and has to be. This defense is really good. We can’t outsmart our way into a bucket right now. Or maybe Joic can, but we can’t. Jamal and Joic, you guys do it. But across 82 games, multiple series, I mean, maybe maybe Denver did get a little too funneled in. Yeah. And here’s the other thing I’ll say, just thinking back to some some games last year, some playoff series. When Aaron Gordon is Aaron Gordon and he brings the physicality, just that dog mentality, not afraid to get up in, you know, James Harden’s face, not afraid to mix it up, like when he is that guy drawing fouls down low, owning the paint, the Nuggets are a different team. Completely different team. So, I I just I’m kind of waiting and seeing on that one, you know, to be honest. I would still say Jamal right now, but I think AG’s value when he’s healthy is just it’s so apparent every time it’s he’s out there. And I don’t think anyone would ever for a second argue that AG is anything less than the third most important player, you know? I’m curious to see what it looks like with Cam Johnson in here, man. Yep. Like I’m I wonder if Cam Johnson’s the most the second most. Yeah. I don’t know. The twoman game will still be absolutely they they need Jamal Murray to beat Jamal Murray. They need Aaron Gordon, too, by the way. But I do think ultimately it’s this tip of the spear thing for Denver that got them the one. Let’s hit another break. Uh on the other side, we’ll get into the mailbag. See what kinds of questions you guys lobbed at us this week. Excited to get to that. I have a mailbag question. I got a lot of great questions uh from the dieards this week. What do we got, Kale? All right, first one coming in from RXmart. If you could pick one former Nugget in their prime, one that was never an all-star to join this current team, who would it be? Jamal Murray. Never an all-star doesn’t rule out that many guys. Never Allar in their prime. I’ll take Jamal Murray. A former Nugget. I will take 2023 Jamal Murray. Give me Danilo Galinari. I love that. I actually really do love that. Galinari, he was dope. Gallow could knock down some shots and Gallow was mean. I loved it. Like, dude, he Gallow did have some nasty to him that I feel like people forget about. He He had He played with emotion, man. He was mean as hell. And he would um he would just show up one day with a mohawk. He’d be like, “Whoa, what the hell? The mohawk was wild. What the hell, Danilo?” And he was a dead eyee shooter. I mean, he was dope, man. He was like the leading scoreer for the Nuggets for a while. Yeah, I think you oneshotted this cuz cuz people that are better than Gallow, you’ll be surprised like made an all-star Paul Milap made an all-star team better than Gallow at some point in their career. Uh I mean, yeah, you might be right, dude. Gallow is dope. Uh I would also take uh Ty Lawson. Ty Lawson I love very much. We were just talking about backup point guard. I mean, if if you’re putting together a quote unquote backup point guard to add to this team, maybe he has a little more height than that, but somebody who can just who has crazy handles and who has a great speed would be two requirements. I feel like I agree. Chad threw out a great answer. What if you took 1718 Gary Harris? Oo, like no no no disrespect to Christian Brown, but just for hypothetically if Christian Brown was 17. Oh, that would be so sick. Specifically that year. He was so Was that the year he shot 42% from three? I think so. either that or the year before. But I think that was the year where he like even national writers were like, “Yo, what’s going on with Gary Harris?” National writers were like, “Wait, is he the next Kawawaii?” That’s the answer. Makmoud Abdul Rau. I cannot tell you how much I loved Chris Jackson/Mood Abdul Raou. Like he was so sick. Like that was the that was the period that I really fell in love with uh basketball in general. And I didn’t um I think I’ve told the story before, but it was I got introduced because of basketball cards. It was the uh Tem Matumbbo rookie card that I was like so I was coveting so much as a youth. So I started watching Nuggets games because of that and then I through that learned of Chris Jackson/M Abdul Rau and my god I love Was he really never an all-star? No. Well listen like he first off he when his uh career really when he got to the point where he was good enough he got blacklisted and that’s he’s got run out of town. uh like actually blacklist. Yeah. Yep. Um for you know not participating in the national anthem. Um and that was what a terrible story that was. So I would love to have Nakmood back. That would be incredible. That’s a great answer. That’s a great answer. I I think I have the answer though. Actually no. Sorry. He was an all-star. Never mind. Who? I was going to say Andre Gdala. Oh yeah. Well he was a multiple time all-star in the east. In the because remember he was in the east. Also the least liked nugget of all time. Yeah. Also we hate him. So yeah. Also, screw that guy. Um, give me you give me Nerkage. I want What about Kenneth Fared off the bench? Kenneth Fared is dope. It’s just like he was he couldn’t bench, man. I know, but what if you had him like bringing energy as a backup big, dude? He was so fun. What if he’s your backup for Yeah, cuz right now it’s like Payton Holmes. Like, what if he was in the like maybe Zeke Naji/P? You could just give him Zagi’s contract, too. That would even work. You know who else I would take? Birdman. Give me Birdman. Birdman. Yeah. I was actually going back and watching some Birdman highlights. Dude, Birdman was so insane. It was It was w Birdman blocks were like the big I mean it was like every game he had some insane block where he like sent it into the fourth row and then he like did he like had the he was like plus he had tattoos all the place. He had a crazy demeanor. Then he got catfish. And as I’m and as I’m told, legally speaking, this is just a rumor, uh 86 from one of my favorite bars in Denver. Yeah. Well, again, he was also he was also the first person I ever heard of that got catfished. He was like the first the first catfish. This is a guy that drove the truck bed around without the trailer. He the truck um like drove it around. Yeah. We’re talking about Birdman, right? Yeah. Yeah. He would drive the head of a truck without a trailer around. Really? I Oh, like the way you would take your like like a semi-truck. Yeah. Yeah. But just the the cab. The cab. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The cab. Thank you. I still barely understand. This is crazy though. What a revelation. This is just these are just things I hear on the street. I can’t This is not No journalism here. No journalism. What’s What’s the difference? It’s just something I heard on the street. Interesting. You know what? I retracted in case in the case that’s total BS. I once saw Birdman at um I think about the person that told me I have in Cherry Creek. Interesting. You guys been there? Interesting. No, not a semi. Okay, thank you. You know what? Listen, I’m This is secondhand info. I don’t even trust my source. So, I retracted all. Yes, I know. We don’t like a gadala. I know, Marshall. I know. Oh, Lefonso Ellis, that’s a great answer. That’s a really good answer. That’s a good answer. It turns out no Nuggets have ever been an all-star. So, we can really just have our pick of the week. That’s what I was saying earlier. like this doesn’t take that many guys off the board. Was Kenyon Martin ever an all-star? Maybe in the East. Maybe in the East. Let’s look it up right now. Yeah, look it up. All right, let’s go to our next mailbag question. All right. Yes, he was an all-star in 2004 when he was with the New Jersey Net. Shout out Jefferson and Carrie KDles. Shout. Uh, this is coming in from Broaddinski. Broaddinski, we all feel great about the offseason editions, but are there any holes you guys could see when it comes to playoff matchups? teams like OKC, Houston, Los Angeles Clippers, any team in the East, etc. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ball handling is is the one for me. And this goes back to the back of point guard discussion, but I just think about, you know, some of the ball pressure that OKC gave us and the defenders that the Clippers can throw at us and picking guys up full court. It really all just comes down to who can neutralize Jamal Murray. Yeah. and that we the the Minnesota Timberwolves can can neutralize has a bunch of those guys only can neutralize Jamal Murray. I mean the Clippers didn’t really he still got his uh with that going up against uh Normal Powell. But I mean think about like Russell Westbrook had a pretty good playoff series against the Clippers. He did. Yeah. You know like his ball handling was crucial you know when just you need a guy to bring the ball up before against pressure. And so I look at the roster this season and I’m like I’m a little skeptical like do we have enough ball handling to to beat those teams when they’re shutting down Jamal and I completely agree in that matchup for Houston and Minnesota I would say athleticism although I’m not necessarily saying that means those two teams are better. Um I just that in that matchup that would be the concern. I feel like the Wolves when they’ve won series convincingly against the Lakers recently and the Nuggets when they did it, not the one where they lost and then the Nuggets won the title, the other one. Um I felt he’s like, man, that looks like a different class of a group of athletes. I don’t understand like how does it that the Wolves are the most unbeatable team against Denver exclusively and then other other team to beat their back-to-back conference finals. I know, but even lose games. They do. They lose games all the time. Not to Denver. Makes me crazy. I just honestly one of the top regular season benchmarks like this group could do that would make us go, “Oh, oh, if you win the series match up with the Wolves this year, people are going to start buying this stock as fast as they can.” Yeah, I know. Whenever the schedule comes out, I’m just circling the first Timberwolves game. That will be a massive massive game. You run them out of the gym, I’m all in. Yeah. Just in terms of setting the perception, the buy it like that. Hua coin. Buy it all up. Buy it all up. All right, let’s go to another mailback question that is not legal advice. All right, coming in from Phil Knip, I think. Uh, what is your favorite thing about yourself? Oh my god, what a question. All of my friends. I have great friends. Harrison, you go first. You have a healthy uh I would say view of yourself. That’s what you think. Um, my favorite thing about myself uh Oh, you know what? This is tough. I’ll tell you my favorite. You should answer this question about each other. I was going to say I’m going to jump in. We’re going to call this a game that my friends and I used to play all the time. It’s called round a compliment. All right, let’s go. What you do is you go you go around and you give everyone a compliment and then if you deliver what’s been determined as a backhanded compliment, you get penalized. Oh man, I’m screwed already. Yeah, you can’t. It has to be a sincere compliment. It usually comes after round night of drinking when we’re all sort of at our lowest. I’ll start off first. Round of compliments. Harrison, I find you to be a consmate professional and not only that, you have a very rise sense of humor and you add a lot to the show. Oh, lovely. Thank you, Don. Absolutely. Brenavote, I’ll go next. Brenda vote, I find you to be a consmate professional. You have a very r sense of humor. You add a lot to the show. I did not chat GPT this. Uh, Brendan, I find to be extremely funny. Um, both of you guys are very quick on your feet. It’s why the show works. And but we’re only talking about professional things about each add something that I think would sorely be missed if we get fired. Uh that’s not a premonition. Brendan, don’t uh read into I did take it as one. That’s fine. I’ll fall back. I’ll fall back. Uh I I agree that Harrison is really professional and I think also just a really great hang. And Eric, I think this might sound backhanded, but I’ve heard you make jokes recently about your age. Yes. Yes. And you have a a energy that is both inspiring and encouraging. I appreciate that. I I hear that as uh immature, but that’s fine. Here’s what I’ll say about you guys. Here’s what I’ll say. Vote. I don’t think anybody in Denver or I’ll even say that covers basketball can write a better aftergame story than you can. Oh, wow. That’s really nice. Let’s go. Just based off what you’ve done the last couple hours. What a great round of compliment. Oh, thanks for making us do that. And I will say Dline, I don’t think many people work harder than Dline. Wow. That’s right. At least from what I can tell. Well, I appreciate that. I feel that way about both you guys. What a dude. What a great round of conflict. Kale. Uh, you know, he’s fine. Kale’s Kale’s fine. Sorry. Looking at the time, I think we got to go. We’re actually next question. Kale’s actually the best person amongst us, just to be clear. Kale, I we’re talking about quality of human being. Kale might be above us. I think I I clean it. He might rank number one. He’s He’s packed with nutrients. Yeah, Kale. Um All right. Coming in from Scott. If you could have one out of two things happen this season, which would you pick? Number one, Watson becomes a finishing machine like Christian Brown or Joker hitting 90% of clutch time free throws. Good question, bro. That’s a great question. God, give me Joker. That’s a great question. Give me Joker, dude. That’s his only weakness. That is the one I know it is actually weak if I can use the worst uh phrase in the history of human language. The one [ __ ] in his armor. Oh in his armor. In his armor. In his armor. It contains one single solitary [ __ ] And it’s the fact that he is not reliable from the line in clutch. Dude, it’s the craziest thing about this. Absolutely crazy, right? It is crazy. It is so so weird to like have Jokic line up to do something. and you’re like, “Oh my god, please.” I know. I don’t It’s crazy. It’s so weird to look. It’s like when you just when you learn that your father isn’t perfect, you know? For me, it was like when I was seven years old or maybe four. Uh but then it was just everything was off the rest of the time, you know? Sorry. Sorry. I love when you mention your dad. All right. Here’s what Yokic shot last year. If we’re just talking about um free throws in the last, let’s call it five minutes. Five minutes. That’s clutch time. That is clutch time. I’m logging in here. Let’s see what he did. Uh last five minutes. That’s a great topic that we never really 72% is. We’ve we’ve never really had this combo. 70% is not a terrible amount. 72% in the clutch last year, but he typically is around 80 to 90, right? and just in the clutch does everything else so impeccably. Actual, you know, percentage for full last year was um let’s see. Let’s do reset. Uh Jokic. Uh wait, that’s not correct. Hold on. Give me a second. Wow. I feel like this is the far easier one to look up. Yeah, I know. But my my thing wasn’t resetting. Uh last year regular season 80%. So, it drops. It drops about 10%. Yeah. In the clutch. Drops about 10% in the clutch. Actually, I’m going to take Payton on this one now that we’ve done that. I think I’ll take Payton. Now that we’ve done the math, but that’s a great I think everyone is vaguely aware that Joic is will sometimes miss those, but we don’t really talk about it. Yeah, dude. Pwatt. Think about how many chances PWAT has. like he has it seems like Patt has way more chances to finish at the rim on fast breaks just in the half court than a lot of players do that play his you know 20 so many opportunities and this is this is BS math right here but they seem to come in swing moments right cuz it’s you got to stop finally Joic is off the floor Pton Watson’s streaking you can make this uh like instead of the two points they always score we get to four-point swing right like it just sort of feels like in these moments where Payton has an opportunity and he blows it like it just feels more costly maybe. Yeah. Um but maybe that’s I don’t know. I know to me I just just leveling up there was so big last year. I mean it’s it’s clearly the thing that it’s just we rely on Yic more and it’s the only going back to his armor. I’m just kidding. There are some dents in his armor. His armor is a little rusty. Armor contains some areas that have been chiseled away. Yeah, punctured even. What else we got in the mail bag? It’s a tough one. You’re right. All right, this one coming in from Rob. What month? What month do you think the Nuggets will go on their biggest win streak without knowing the schedule? I actually already know. Better to play this without knowing the schedule. I actually already know my answer. You go. It’s right after the All-Star break. They do it every goddamn year. Oh. uh a statement week. During statement week is when they go they rattle off 8 n 10. No, excuse me, not 10. We know we’ve never going to hit 10, but that’s when they always do it. I don’t know what it is. They get a little bit of rest and they come back revitalized. One of us is going to make the bold prediction this season that they’re going to have the longest winning streak in in franchise history. I’m taking January because that’s the time of year every year where Jamal starts scoring 21 points per game again. You know, I’m going to take beginning of the season. Whoa. The actual year of Jamal Murray is next year in January is what you’re saying. 2026. Well, they’re all that that’s how the year of Jamal Murray works. You have to wait till January and then it begins. It’s not 2025 in any way. What do you think the best time for it to come would be? Beginning of the season. Right away. Yeah, dude. It would be amazing. Like they start 15 and two or something. Yeah, absolutely. with the huge I mean we’re at this we’re in pure, you know, fanfiction portion on paper of the season where we’re just going to be like, man, it’s going to be amazing. They’re going to win a bunch of games. The Thunder going to live. They start crying. Um it it would be Dude, come on, man. Remember how excited we were for the Denver Nuggets to come back and play um that year? We did a watch along for the first game of the season. These got their the bigger they won the title. Oh, yeah. Yeah. smoked by the Jazz first experience together bludgeoned by the Jazz. The first watch along ever. They lose by 20 to the Jazz and we were like, “Oh, we’re wasting our lives.” And then they won a championship. And they won a championship. So, I don’t know what the learnings are there, but I just feel like I just can’t trust the beginning of the season regardless of how it feel. It would dude it would be so sick because then too you could kind of have a rough next month and even everyone would still be I mean the the between the avalanche came out one year and just went like 10 and0 11 and0 right out of the gate. They just beat down guys and then they won the cup and it just it just didn’t stop from there. Like I’m hop one of those like no doubt seasons. If they have a start like that that is just going to like put us at ease for the next 3 months. We will become and also every narrative gets written in October, November. Yes. The the national narrative will about the Nuggets would be crazy if they did that. Yeah. And I my promise to you my co-host and Kale and the people at home is that I will become a monster if they come out that like that. You’re going to be so smug because like just you’ve never seen smug. Just an unbear like you’ll people who like the Nuggets and the show will hate me. Hell hell hath no fury like Dline when he’s correct. Yeah. Oh, it’s the Don’t let me be correct about anything ever. Come on, Wendy. Come on, buddy. 20 lbs on me. This is the year. The Nuggets start off 10 and0 and the 10th win is just a drubbing of Webby in the Spurs. The Nuggets will be playing the Spurs and Western Conference Finals. Because I know Eric, I will uh uh I will secretly be rooting for you. Eric will actually be on the road covering that series in San Antonio. And then I’ll just watch Wimby shoot like three shots from half court, clank it off. Let’s go to our postgame call and Eric somehow in the Spurs locker room just laughing manically. H anyway, let let’s all hope it’s true. Hate me as much as I hate me. Yeah. All right, let’s keep going on the mail. A couple more uh before we wrap up today. Great questions today. All right. From Derek Aturus, uh, in all your off seasonasons covering the Nuggets, where does this rank so far? Is this one the most Is this one of the most fun off seasons for you all? Well, I I’ll say the off season after the championship was still probably the most fun. Good answer. Great answer. Because we were just walking on everybody’s grave. Didn’t even really care about the next year that much to be honest. Who cared what happened during the summer in terms of transactions? Remember, we won the championship and then the draft happened like a day or two later. We were still drunk. Yeah. He would make like coaching changes and I’d be like, “I don’t care.” I’d be like, “You suck.” You’re like, “Look at the look at these little ants toil about.” And where did that lead us? A blown 20point lead at home in game seven. Something you’ve never seen before. That’s exactly where it led us. But I mean, in terms of just like the moves, this has been the best one. I agree. Hands down. I don’t even think it’s close. We We also did go to Serbia and make a documentary one off season. That was pretty over that one. Good point, Kale. Good point. Man, that was a great off season. This one does. But I I you know, I said this before. This real This one feels like Nuggets Twitter has been given the key. Like when you have somebody come to run the social account for a day, like ah Gary Harris is taking over the Nuggets for the day. Nuggets Twitter took over the Nuggets for one off season. It was all of the all of the moves that Nuggets Twitter had. They just couldn’t find a good Jamal deal. They tried. Um, yeah, all of the deals though, all of the things that Nuggets Twitter has been clamoring for, including bringing back the Black Skyline, it just it’s just been absolutely flawless from like tomorrow they’re going to announce a practice facility. Yeah. Yeah. And it’s not like that would be something that happens this summer. Yeah. Or like the Broncos are like, “We built a practice facility. Like we’re just already building stuff. Like we just made one for you, too. you um like if we if the Broncos build a gym in their new practice and it’s good it’s it’s two it’s two full courts next to the football facilities or just part of it that for like the the Broncos to mess around in um that would be amazing but it really like truly like this just has felt like a fever dream. got to have all of the things we we there’s been no talk of like what are these guys doing? Like uh if you handed if you handed I think the average Nuggets fan a blank piece of paper and a pencil and you were like what’s an off season that would make you feel just really excited? I would say this has 98% of it. Yes. Yes. Which is you know like we don’t know what it looks like obviously but season we’re living in paper season. It is man it is everything we wanted you know. Can we get an upgrade to MPJ? Yes. Uh, can we get Bruce Brown back? Bruce Brown coming back might have been the biggest one of these. It was hilarious. We were all like, “Oh yeah, Bruce Brown’s definitely coming back. Deal’s already done. Locked to happen.” Well, that Well, it actually was. Yeah, it was the most thinly veiled secret, but it felt like so thinly veiled that we were like just deluding ourselves. Dude, the funniest part was heading up to Frey, me and Adam were talking, you know, right before Fregency started. We were like, “We haven’t heard anything about Bruce. Like, it’s really quiet out there. There’s been no noise or rumors about Bruce. I wonder if that just means he’s locked in with the nugget. The deal’s been done for months. Sure enough, it was already done. Maybe it was actually the last deal Calvin Booth negotiated. Yeah. I mean, whatever. But it’s hard. There have been We’ve done a lot of fun stuff, but as far as like the on paper like the backup center, boom. Yeah. The last the last one we felt good about was just the initial Calvin Booth takeover where he got KCP and he got Bruce the first time. That felt really good and obviously netted a title, but this feels like from the ashes, you know? It’s like we we really were like, okay, so now we have to have an entire off season reminding everybody why internal development is a suitable plan for the Denver Nuggets. and we ourselves are able to see it and it was just going to be like this is going to be nothing but a hard pill to swallow all offse it was a hard sell the whole way even if it work even if everything worked out it was going to be an uphill like and I don’t mean hard sell as in we have to sell it I just mean like even if you tried to talk yourself into it you knew you were doing some sort of mental gymnastics um and sometimes you do that throughout a year you have to do it like listen the at the beginning of every season you have to talk yourself into why this season’s going to be worth watching otherwise don’t watch it. You know what I mean? Well, and the thing about the internal development was like there was always even if you didn’t believe in it, you had to acknowledge look maybe look yeah maybe it’s maybe reasonable because you’re talking about things that aren’t actually concrete, right? That has to be ruled out officially. You you’re talking about your hopes and dreams in terms of what you’ve actually got. And then sometimes you try it hard enough and and you start to see it. But that’s different than no, this gives you really security and confidence in the floor of the operation. And I don’t think it was going to be really that easy to win the Nuggets fan base back this off season, which just shows you how well it worked. Definitely. Yeah. You know, it wasn’t going to be one good move and now everyone was happy again. people were really upset and I think and you know you know the one thing that like really galvanized us all was being able to mount up as a monolith coming together and just telling uh Panathanos to SRDS all at once dude SRDs you you freaking clover loving losers that felt great just being able to win an offseason battle before the season even began beautiful man things are going great just going great over We can’t be stopped. We probably got time for one more and then we’ll hit super chats. One more quick one. Yeah, real quick. Oh, no. By the way, the link is in there for somebody. Um, all right. What did you eat? This is actually a really good one. I’d love to hear the answers. 100% truth. Uhoh. I ate child a um bacon, egg, and cheese from Starbucks. Oh, that’s so sick. Um 100% truth. I had a lemon loaf from Starbucks. Starbucks? I haven’t had lunch yet. Uh, me neither. It’s my next item to do. I did go to Starbucks today. It’s not where I ate my food though. I had duck kanji at OneFold. What’s up? Onefold is the best breakfast in the city. By the way, there are two duck. What’s duck? It’s like it’s it’s highbrow like classy elite porridge basically. But it’s it’s much better than that. But there’s like duck ioli and duck fat and chicken and like an egg in there. It’s worth my unbelievable vote. It’s also like when you know when you go to a restaurant and you’re like, “Look, I they have my the sandwich that I love, but I can make myself a sandwich.” Like, I’m never making myself duck. Are you saying this about our orders at Starbucks? No, no, no, no. I just mean like I can make myself a bacon cheese. When are you going to get a chance to eat it? You had an incredible meal. You had um an acceptable meal. I had glorified cake. I basically had cake today. Okay, great question. just what a great qu you’re starting to learn a lot about the fellas you know these are great question today really were and a super chat just for posterity sake from Cedric but first you have to join us on the worldwide web as we enter overtime everyone waited patiently flipped over so we could read this one super chat from Cedric Mr. Exquisite Nugget vote. Forget Maul. Bruce Bound or Big Vow will lead the bench. Respectfully, brother, I I won’t forget Maul because I do think it will be Jamal. Yeah. Yeah. Best case, I think it’s him and the bench looks great. But between those two, um, lead it. [Applause] Um, Val, I don’t know who leads it, dude. Val, he JJ Brea. It’s kind of a hard question to ask. JJ answer. He said his role is to like make sure the bench is ready to go. Or one of his roles is that. I mean, it might be Bruce Brown. I don’t know. We’ll see. Bruce, I could say it could be. It could be Adam’s guy. It could be pick. I don’t think that will be. It could be. It could be. Could be. It could be. Meman can shoot. Jaylen Picket can shoot the rock. Yeah. 1. Daron Holmes will probably be very helpful this season too. I think he'll be a good fit with Jokic cause he can hit open shots and compensate for Jokic's inability to guard the rim.

  2. this will be the year of Jamal because he dont have his Malone safety blanket. and I think he hears the criticism and his ego too big to ignore it. and we have 2 other ball handlers.

  3. Aaron Gordon. It became very obvious to me that a hampered Gordon was a serious downgrade in overall team competency last year. And yes, last year's AG, playing on a bad hamstring, looks like a player who is not a second-most important player. But the AG of 2022 and 2023 was easily the #2 guy, and that's what I'm basing my decision on.

  4. I hope Jamal plays like if I don't average 25 a game I'm getting traded. Because if this guy can't play 65 games and be an All Star trade him. There is too much money and time wasted on him for him to not care anymore.

  5. Hunter Tyson averaged 22/6/2 on 58/51/89 during his first summer league.
Daron averaging 13/10 isnt impressive. He maybe plays 500 minutes this year just because we need bigs. He is by far the most overblown piece

  6. you couldn't give me jamal murray stock let alone buy or sell we can just burn it like i did his jersey. he's not even the #2 option on the team that's AG
