I fear they may come up a bit short.

  1. Love how everyone so doom and gloom after a close lost. Shota will get this team back on track. And hopefully the batters will heat up. 0/14 for the top 4 batters is an anomaly

  2. I’m not throwing in any towels until after that five-game set in a couple weeks. But I’ll admit it’s a possibility. .500 ball over the last 6-8 weeks just ain’t gonna cut it.

  3. I’m upset with the loss too, but damn y’all are acting like there’s only a week left of baseball or something lol

  4. The only improvement they made from last year and the years before is that they melted down further into the season. And yet they paid Jed to stay? When will Cubs fans just tell management to fuch off until they spend appropriately?

  5. The bats have cooled ad nuaseum, like so many teams this year (Mets, Phillies, Brewers, Dodgers, Red Sox, Yankees, Padres…), they can right the ship yet. Tough loss, but it was 100% small things that could have gone either way. Hang in guys…

  6. Have you ever considered, you know, actually rooting for the team you claim to support?

  7. I love how someone makes a little funny meme and this sub is just a raw nerve right now. I thought it was funny. It doesn’t have to be anything else

  8. They will win the division and get swept in the NLDS, or they’ll lose the wild card series in a really stupid anti climactic way.

  9. Idk about you guys but I gotta get to Wrigley again soon to support the boys. Go Cubs Go

  10. As a Cubs fan. Dansby, unlike Javi, you are not an umpire . Run through the bag!!!!

  11. The brewers are playing the best baseball in the league and only have 3 more wins than the cubs. Y’all are dramatic

  12. They will come up short, just to accept it now. Brewers are clearly a better team
