Seeing this live is my favorite regular season moment still, been watching since the 90s
Mods pls take this down, it still hurts 💔
One of the most iconic shots in basketball history, pretty easily
The rare double bang in a regular season game
Not that cool, from my unbiased opinion
Sometimes those bangs feel forced. This one was one of the best authentic ones
Thanks, i almost forgot to watch this today
Watched this live, Iguodala is underrated here for making all 3 free throws to save the game for GSW. Considering how bad he was as a free throw shooter.
How awful were those sleeved jerseys
I vividly remember watching this live with all my friends and couldn’t believe he put that shot up and made it. Was just a sign of things to come
Clocked Enes Kanter raising his hands up as the ball decends like “wtf?!? why’d yall let him shoot from half? Where’s the D?”
The thunder bench knowing that it’s going in on the release is just great
This game was epic. Iggy’s free throws right before this were just awesome. And he was a mediocre free throw shooter.
possibly the most iconic regular season shot in nba history
Big deal. I can do that. I just don’t want to.
It’s crazy to this day I thought I heard Breen say “BANG, BURIED” until I listened closely today
Incredible shot.
It kinda underscores how great the game and season was, which is why the shot was so memorable.
That realization as the defenders feet touch the 3pt line “oh shit that’s Steph”
If you can’t beat em, join em

The most disrespectful & unnecessary basketball play in basketball history, in my opinion. He definitely did not HAVE to do that. 99 percent of human beings wouldn’t have.
But he said, “Fuck it, we ball”, threw up a half court three for shits and giggles with the game on the line, in overtime, on national TV and danced on the way out.
“Westbrook gets off a decent look”
steph literally wasn’t human during 2016
Idk about y’all but when he got the rock, I knew he was launching a nuke and burying it.
Not even a big Curry fan like that but this is one of my favorite moments in all of sports. His confidence this season is what I want every athlete to have.
I’m baffled as to why OKC did not double team him 40 feet away from the basket lol
This is definitely one of the shots I’m glad I saw live on tv.
One of the rare moments in (pro) sports where the stars aligned and an iconic regular season moment was created on a level with any postseason one
Why did you do this to me
It’s crazy how even late in to that season coaches didn’t realize you need to have someone on curry the moment he comes out of the tunnel.
Buzzer beater losses and OKC name a more iconic duo
Was watching that live. Spilled beer all over my living room. Not a joke. Kept yelling “why???” I couldn’t believe he even took that shot, much less made it. Amazing.
This and that Dame’s shot has forever traumatized me.
Watching this once live is enough for one lifetime.
this is posted every offseason and it still hits as hard as the first time i watched 💔
I watched this live at 4:30 am from Portugal, I literally jumped from my chair when Curry hit this suot
I was there. Hurt.
This shot was so nuts at the time. A decade of watching Curry put up these threes has really numbed us to it a bit. I would have told you this shot was from behind half court in my memory.
I can finally watch this and not be just absolutely devastated…. Those were rough times.
GSW’s Say My Name moment
curry had to start emoting aswell
I was at this game. That shot felt like the basketball world shifting into a new era. It seemed so deep but like we all knew. My dad said as we were walking out, “it’s Curry’s world now, we just live in it”
In 2008, the manga Kuroko’s Basketball was first serialized. Unlike Slam Dunk, which was more realistic, Kuroko’s Basketball was more over the top. In that manga, there was a character who can make 3s from anywhere on the court. I thought that was bullshit.
