Ron Holland Has TRUE STAR Potential!

But shout out to Tian Langdon, too, man, because he got it right with Ryan, guys. He got it right. A lot of guys, myself included, slept a little bit on Ryan before the draft. I was looking at guys like Don Connect, his teammate, and Masalis. I think Ryan’s going to be better than both of those guys. Ryan really has a chance to be a star player. He really has that true two-way potential, the mindset that he has coming into the game. Tim Hardway Jr., he said Isaiah Sto, he wouldn’t hurt a fly. Heart of gold. He has the heart of gold. Wouldn’t hurt a fly. But when he steps in between those lines, but when he steps in between them lines, I don’t know what triggers him, but he becomes something that uh can’t really teach. And Ron has that same mindset. There are no friends in the basketball court. He really just wants to win. There’s so much room for growth for a guy who’s just scratching the surface. Anytime a rookie can make an impact immediately, you see a lot of guys get the opportunity on terrible teams and they get empty stats, but they don’t really impact the game. We saw Ron last year impacting the game. He should have had a game winner last year. That game against the Hornets when he lost by one the last shot by Brandon Miller at the buzzer before that. Ron picked up a steal, went coast to coast with guys on both sides of him and finished. That should have been a game winner. Like you don’t see rookies doing that this early and he’s got that skill that Stu has of being able to come into the game looking to punish you and not feeling bad about it at all. That is Ron Holland. But off the court just like Steu, fun loving guy, respectful guy. You can even hear in his interviews when it was over she said thank you. He said yes ma’am. Great guy off the court. I got a chance to talk to him briefly when Charles Hill brought him on to the stream. Ron, what’s going on my dog? How you feeling, bro? I’m feeling good, man. How are you? Hey, we doing great, man. What up, Chad? I just wanted to come say what’s up to y’all. That’s all. Real good dude, man.

Trajan Langdon saw what most missed when he drafted Ron Holland last off-season.

  1. I saw Ron and saw Jimmy Butler 2.0. He scores through contact, plays bigger than himself, jumper had a lot a potential, both started in lesser roles on a winning team and transition into a star level player
