MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Kaden Honeycutt landed a ride for Watkins Glen to remain eligible for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series playoffs.

Honeycutt will race a Young’s Motorsports-fielded No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado at Watkins Glen. He is 89 points above the playoff cutline, entering Watkins Glen.

“Texas proud! Thankful to Tyler and Randy Young for letting me wheel the No. 02 at Watkins Glen this weekend. Keeping the championship dream alive before hopping in the No. 52 to finish the year,” Honeycutt stated on social media.

Honeycutt will run the final eight races in the Halmar-Friesen Racing-fielded No. 52 Toyota.

All of this comes after Niece Motorsports released Honeycutt, effective Monday. Honeycutt is going to a new team and manufacturer in 2026.

The No. 52 Toyota is open after injuries sidelined regular driver Stewart Friesen for the rest of the season.
