Not shocked. Regardless of his performance last night, with Cortes slotted to start Wednesday and King coming back probably this weekend the rotation is a bit crowded. Hopefully they can work with Sears down in El Paso and get him trending the right way.
Hope he can work on things and come back better than ever.
Me thinks that the As trade was a bit impulsive. Who knows. I woulda settled on 3 pitchers for 1 Mason Miller. But I think LDV was thrown in as an “offer they couldn’t refuse.”

Six man rotation given King and Cortes are coming back from long absences. Plus, there are “only” 3 mop up guys in the bullpen – wandy, Matsui, Morgan. Addition of Reynolds makes a lot of sense.
More transactions will be happening after the Arizona series.
