And a triple for Raone Lauraniano. And Croninorth over there short stop Peromo into left center. That’ll tie the game. Padres’s have already homered and tripled this inning. Now a double for Croninworth and it’s two to2. Well, you Darvis is one of those guys who can do it. And another thing, Mike McCarthy trying to find a gap in right center and he does to begin the inning. Oh, it’s been an extra base hit festival here early on and McCarthy with great wheels going to make it to third standing up. lead off triple here in the bottom of the second inning. Tying run aboard here in the fifth inning and Vachado has now hit safely 12 out of his last 13 games. One and two and hard hit beyond the reach of a rise this time and down the line for Herrera who will not challenge Fernando Tatis Junior’s arm. Sixth pitch of the atbat on the way and it’s muscled into center field. Jackson Merrill on the move is there and a nice bounceback performance by here in the fifth inning tonight. and struggling with his command here. That’s ball two. It kicks away and Cronorth’s going to go into scoring position. Runners will go on three and two and for me takes up and in ball for three straight walks and ball four to Tatis. Xander Bogart’s nice job taking command of the situation and making the catch. One down. Maybe a little slower now on a ground ball. That is a ground ball right to Xander. one and high again, but Arise got the tag down and takes the throw from Bogarts to get the second out and end the inning. And he steps into that one and hits it high and deep to left field. McCarthy in the corner and he can’t make the catch. That’s a fair ball. Machado didn’t realize it and he thinks it’s a home run. They hit the foul pole over the yellow line. Manny’s hard hit the other way. That will get it done. Machado rounding third. Going to score. Merryill’s on his way being waved. Martes relay to the plate. No shot. No throw to third. And the Padres’s ahead for the first time tonight. And two here. What do you know? And Alexander strikes out on three pitches. One away. Just four outs but walked six guys. That is a bad walk to out ratio as Tatis lines to center 101 away. Just stand outside the box maybe about 6 8 ft. That’ll give you a good indication what these guys are facing and a slider to boot. You’re looking 104 and then you get that slider the yaker and he hammers it to deep left field. Chows him with a fast ball and Guriel was ready. Tie game eighth inning. Got him. Strike out to end the inning, but the damage done as Lordis Guriel Jr. takes Miller out and we are 55 to the ninth back in the second inning. So, a couple of extra base hits as Bogards takes off and steals second base. Oh, Xander stealing this year has been exceptional now. 17 out of 18 and a go ahead run in scoring position with one out. Oh, and two to Lauriano. Hard hit, one hop stopped by Alexander. Bogarts will go to third and out at first base. Two away. Wow, what a play. Lays Alexander, the batter, and he lines it sharply into left field. First hit of the night for Alexander. And some speed aboard for the Diamondbacks. 0 for three tonight, though he did hit a home run yesterday. And that hit him. And Jose up there looking to bunt. Puts it down towards first base. Llelier’s only play is to Marte. And a successful sacrifice to move Croninward. One away here in the 10th. Get something elevated to the outfield. Chopped right to shortstop. Will watch him back. Two away. That was a sinker. That was the intent right there by uh Woodford. That’s how you get a grounder as well. breaks his bat there, rolls it out to Glacius. He hits third. That’s one. And a double play to end the inning and send us to the 11th. Muscled the other way and that is going to dump down. Fernando got a good read on his way. Barosa’s throw to the plate. Ball gets through and the Padres’s go back ahead. It’s six to five. And now Machado at first, one away for Bogarts. Xander bangs it through the left side and a base hit. Talk about a great fit in this lineup and again into right a base hit. Machado going to be waved. Corbin Carroll’s throw will go to second base. Raone Lauraniano again and it’s eight to five. That is a chopper to first base. They go to second one. Purdommo’s turn. Not in time. Another run scores as Bogarts checks in and it’s nine to five. Finally, they have broken through all the way. It’s nine to five. Line the other way. How about some more? Bronorth rounding third. Carol’s throw is on the way and not in time. Make it 10. Alexander out to deep right center field. Fernando on the move gets there and this game is over as the Padres’s double up the Diamondbacks in
