WE GOT A GLIMPSE OF JJ MCCARTHY IN THE VIKINGS PRESEASON OPENER LAST YEAR AGAINST THE LAS VEGAS, RAIDERS. AND HE LOOKED PRETTY GOOD AND THEN OUT OF THE BLUE A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER. HE’S GOT A KNEE INJURY. OH WELL, HE’S OKAY RIGHT. OH HE’S GOT A MENISCUS INJURY. OH WELL, THAT’S A PROBLEM. IF HE GETS A FULL REPAIR, HE’S GOING TO BE OUT FOR A LONG. OH, HE’S OUT FOR THE YEAR. OH, HE’S ON IR. THERE’S NO WAY HE’S GOING TO PLAY THIS YEAR. OH WELL, LET’S SEE. WHAT SAM DARNOLD CAN DO THAT WAS A YEAR AGO NOW MCCARTHY EXPECTED TO PLAY IN THE PRESEASON OPENER. CHRIS AGAINST THE TEXANS. YEAH, GOOD. GOOD TO HEAR. I’M EXCITED FOR THAT. THAT’S SEEN ON 1 MORE REASON TO SIT THERE AND WATCH SOME PRESEASON FOOTBALL ON SATURDAY AND UNDERSTAND THAT DECISION. I MEAN YOU JUST LAID IT OUT PERFECTLY, HE ONLY PLAYED A LITTLE BIT OF PRESEASON FOOTBALL LAST YEAR. HE DIDN’T EVEN GET THE PRACTICE AFTER THAT SO THEY GOT TO GET HIM OUT THERE AND GET USED TO THE GAME AND THE SPEED OF THE GAME AND WAIT, THIS GUY ACTUALLY CAN HIT YOU AND TEAR YOUR HEAD OFF HERE. WHEN YOU’RE SITTING IN THE POCKET, IF YOU HOLD THE BALL TOO LONG I THINK IT’LL SERVE. THEM. WELL, GET THEM OUT THERE, YOU’LL GET THEM BACK IN THE FLOW OF THE GAME GET THEM TO SEE THE FIELD A LITTLE BIT, MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD, GET THEM OUT AND THAT. I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FAIR EXPECTATIONS FOR THE VIKINGS ARE THIS YEAR. WE TALKED EARLIER ABOUT HOW THE SCHEDULE IS GOING TO BE TOUGHER FOR ALL THE TEAMS IN THE DIVISION. THE FACT THAT THEY REPORTEDLY TALKED TO AARON RODGERS AND I DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH THAT WAS THE VIKINGS INTERESTED IN ROGERS OR ROGERS INTERESTED IN THE VIKINGS, BUT THERE WAS A WEIRD PERIOD OF TIME. LIKE ARE THEY GOING TO KEEP DARNOLD? ARE THEY GOING WITH MCCARTHY? ARE THEY GOING TO KEEP DANIEL? JONES, ARE THEY GOING WITH MCCARTHY? ARE THEY GOING AFTER AARON RODGERS? ARE THEY GOING TO STICK WITH MCCARTHY? AND THERE WAS A SENSE THAT I’D GOTTEN FROM PEOPLE DEALING WITH THE VIKINGS THAT THEY DIDN’T KNOW WHO WAS CALLING THE SHOTS. WELL, AT THE END OF THE DAY, THEY DID WHAT I THINK THEY NEED TO DO. LET’S SEE WHAT JJ MCCARTHY CAN DO CHRIS. YEAH, I I TRUST THEIR EVALUATION, LIKE, WE’VE TALKED ABOUT HE FITS THAT OFFENSE.     No, Aaron wasn't going to come. No, they weren't going to give Sam 33 mil per yr…. Why do you think Jones walked away ? He was told he was going to back up JJ and wanted a chance to start.
    Keep inventing drama, the Vikes have a clear vision they are working on for the last 3 years.

  3. I believe & saw practice, biggest thing I saw not good was him throwing & forcing into double triple coverage & a pick by his own team. Biggest issue will be reading defensive coverages!
