He’s not struggling He’s been doing good. Is this article from last year? Flores has not been holding back and the defense looks insane this year but McCarthy is holding his own and learning from the best. Darnold was struggling early in camp last year and at one point Cousins was complaining about the Flores defense during training camp. There have been bad plays but McCarthy always seems to bounce back and he never complains or gets frustrated. The kid has a cannon and is accurate but does need practice on the touch throws but that will come in time.

News flash EVERY QB struggles during training camp. If your qb isn’t struggling then your defense might be complete garbage and you’ve got bigger problems
The vikings offensive playbook will have the same 2 plays it had last year- Chuck it up to JJ and pray, or hand it off to aaron jones
