I can start by saying let’s uh start making you some money with this matchup between the Angels and the Rays from Angel Stadium as you got Tyler Anderson listed as the starter for the Los Angeles Angels in this one while the Rays will counter with Shane Bos. And Anderson has not been as sharp in a lot of his recent outings. He went from a guy that was, you know, a decent option for the Los Angeles Angels, especially at home, to being a guy that they haven’t been able to count on to be overly sharp. I mean, he’s given up at least three runs in four of his last five starts. We’ve seen the the innings not be all that long. He’s only gone six innings twice. He’s had issues with control at times. Given up a home run in each of those five games for eight home runs combined in those five outings. So, I do have my concerns with Tyler Anderson. When you look at his numbers though, Anderson has been, you know, more effective at home at Angel Stadium from an erra perspective, an opponent’s batting average perspective. The record hasn’t been great home or away. It doesn’t seem to matter where he’s pitched, but I still think that Anderson could be good enough here in a start against a Tampa Bay Rays lineup that in the last two weeks against left-handed pitching, you know, is hitting to a 190 batting average and a strikeout rate just below 31%. That’s third highest in baseball at 30.9. I said that batting average though second worst in baseball across 178 played appearances which is among the five highest sample sizes against lefties in that twoe stretch as well. So, I I’m worried about the Rays in this matchup offensively, but I’m also not too thrilled with the uh with the Angels and their prospects in this game because Shane Bos, yeah, he’s had some issues as of late, but if you look at Shane Bos, like a lot of the the Tampa Bay Rays pitchers, not all, but a lot of them, the issues for Bos have been at hitter friendly Stein Brenerfield. On the road, we’ve seen some solid performances from Shane Bos. you know, in three road starts since the month of July started, he’s given up three earned runs or less in all those starts. He’s gone six plus innings in two of those outings. You know, he’s had quality starts on the road. You look at the split for Shane Bos, you know, on the road this season at 2.97 RA compared to a 6.54 ERA and 13 home runs allowed at Steinbrerfield this season. So, I think that Shane Bos, you know, like I said, better on the road. I think he has a good enough start here. I think he, you know, holds the Angels in check. And I think in the end, this actually ends up being a bit of a lowscoring game. So, I’m going to roll with the under between the Rays and the Angels. You have two teams that in the last two weeks are top 10 in baseball in staff bullpen erra. I said a great pitching matchup for the uh for the starters on the other against the the opposing team’s batting lineup. So, give me the under between the uh the Angels and the Rays, and it’s going to be my free pick.
