  1. Painful when it feels so winnable. Spaghetti will come back, had a not good outing but I don’t think it’ll stick like LMJ.

Gotta win the NYY series. And go CWS tonight!

  2. That’s fine boys, we send them back to under .500 and won the series, onto the slumping Stankees

  3. Some games, the other team just makes the big plays at the big moments. Huge defensive plays by Faucher and Lopez in the 8th were a big difference in this game. Cam and Dubon did what they needed to do. The problem is so did the dudes in the field. Two out of three is still good though, see y’all Friday.

  4. Just about every single bounce went the Marlins way today for them to get this win. Hopefully Arrighetti is better next start

But let’s tip of the cap to Yainer and Walker man. So much better, and Correa is on FIRE. This offense has potential as they go to play a shuttling Yankees team. Let’s just keep stacking series wins. Mariners are in their easy stretch, just gotta weather the surge and hope the White Sox can steal one

  5. Spencer didn’t look great but the team fought and had chances. Still a series w

  6. I didn’t see the whole game, but when I did, we were getting hosed by the home plate umpire.

  7. Offense had so many chances and just couldnt get it done, so many spots where even a sac fly wouldve been huge and we just came up empty

  8. Frustrating L, as this one definitely seemed winnable. We just got absolutely fucked by the baseball gods, an xBA 60 points higher than Miami.

How was Correa’s defense at 3rd? I know early on a lot of infield hits were hit to him, was he struggling?

  9. Gonna get this off my chest:

Sometimes I can’t stand this fanbase and how overreactive they can be both.

    Move on to the next.

  10. Frustrating loss. Had plenty of chances to win. Glad we won the series though. Hopefully the White Sox can use the same voodoo they use against us and win tonight or tmrw.

  11. That was just a frustrating game, similar to the one in Boston where we had 10+ hits. Just couldn’t get 1 or 2 of those hits at the right time.

Arrighetti also got a bit unlucky. Yes, his velocity was down a bit, but if Dubon makes that play and they don’t swinging bunt 3 hits to 3rd base, he probably only gives up 2 runs.

  12. Between this game and the Boston game. We accounted for a total of 35 baserunners and 7 runs. We need Yordan back in the middle of the lineup. We’re just far too inconsistent right now.

  13. Sweeping a MLB team is hard to do. The offense looked much better in these three games and Arrighetti had an unfortunate bad day. As long as the keep winning two out of three, everything is good.

  14. Cam is going through some serious growing pains right now. Sucks that it hurt us very badly today. Frustrating game all around, horrible umpiring, bad bounces and everything in between.

Take the series win and go fuck up the Yankees

  15. So what I’ve learned from this road trip is that Astros will not win when Walker hits a HR in his 1st AB of a game. Saw it twice in Boston. Saw it again today in Miami. So someone please relay the info when they get into New York.

  16. Cam has had a ton of opportunities with runners on base the past month and has disappointed quite a bit

  17. Arrighetti was always going to struggle for 2-3 starts coming off IL. Look at Kirby, Snell, other guys. He’ll get better

  18. If we didn’t win the last 2 this PGT would be a mess. Ball didn’t go our way. Marlins are talented and they showed it today. Thought Spencer looked good outside the sweeper.

I think the hits have ran dry from Taylor. Wonder what they do there. Plus Cam needs something to go his way. He’s been tough. That 8th inning AB when he just kept trying to make something happen was tough to watch.
