trust the process ๐Ÿ”Ž | #DallasCowboys #NFL #football #Schottenheimer #shorts

I talk to the guys all the time, you know, Nick, I say, you know, you can’t win games in the first quarter. You don’t You can’t win them in the second. You don’t win them in the third. When do you win them? You win them in the fourth quarter. And so, I think that kind of proves the point of what I was trying to make. Yeah. We didn’t have a great scrimmage per se. Off and back and forth offensively, boom. But then when the game was on the line, it’s 23-21. We need to put a drive together in two minutes. We went right down the field. And so, um, to me, again, there’s so many great things to take away. And I told the guys this morning, I said, “Hey guys, I’m excited.” You know, you’re going to watch this film and you’re going to see we can get so much better. You know, but you got to love the process. You got to love the grind. You know, you don’t wake up in training camp on a whatever today is, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, whatever the day is, and you’re like, “Hey, we’re Super Bowl champs.” It doesn’t work like that. You have good days, you have bad days, you have so so days. You have days you’re a little sore and you don’t feel like practicing, but you have to keep doing

  1. People overreact to these scrimmages. A few years ago we whooped their ass in the scrimmage and they ended up winning the Super Bowl. Last year was neck and neck yet we were an obviously worse team in the regular season. Adams and schotty even said they werenโ€™t going to be calling the playbook just running vanilla plays to get everyone acclimated to a practice closer to a real game. Maybe we donโ€™t end up being great but a scrimmage isnโ€™t where you can decide how a regular season will go.

  2. ngl they are faster than last year u can tell through all the tape i cant wait to see us in a bad situation where we have to show some zill love to see it shotty for the boys!
