We cashed in on an extra innings thriller last night to push our MLB video run to 14 and4. Today we’ll dig into Royals Red Sox where we have a look on a player prop. So, yeah, nice cash last night. We had the Padres’s on the money line. Uh, we had him right where we wanted him in the eighth inning, 5 to3 lead. Uh, but Mason Miller had other plans. Guriel bit us with a second two-run blast in the game. Uh, but they held the Dbacks off the scoreboard in the bottom of the ninth, bottom of the tenth, pushed it to the 11th, and uh, then they scored five runs, the Padres’s did, winning 10 to five and cashing another MLB free play video for us. Today we got Boston minus 144 on the money line. Total sitting at 8 1/2. And we’ve seen plenty of money coming in on the under as this one opened at uh 9 and a half. So uh we’ve seen a ton of money now coming in on the under. Uh we got two right-handers on the hill. Michael Waka, Dustin May. It’s going to be May’s first start as a Red Sox. And ironically, he just made his first start at Fenway Park last time out with the Dodgers in his final uh game with LA. Allowed four earned runs across five innings pitched uh to his new teammates. And he has pitched against the Royals this season. I think it was towards the end of June. Uh four earned runs across four innings uh at Kaufman Stadium. Not a pretty start there for Dustin May. uh when he has pitched away from Dodger Stadium this season. He has struggled an erra above seven on the road as a Dodger so far this season. Uh it’s been a much better year for Michael Waka 3.38 RA. He’s been very solid this season. Very impressive start last time out in Toronto. This is a lineup that was crushing everybody. uh beating up on righties and lefties alike and he held him to only one earned run across eight innings pitched in that one. So that’s an impressive outing, maybe his best outing of the season out of Michael Waka. Uh however, he has struggled a little bit away from Kaufman Stadium 410 erra compared to a 263 in Kansas City. However, he has pitched well in his career at Fenway Park. He did spend a year with the Red Sox and he has a 288 erra across uh 65 plus innings. So Walk has pitched well at Fenway. He’s coming off a great start against the Blue Jays. Now I lean Kansas City here, but I’m not stepping in front of uh my Red Sox sevengame winning streak right now. I think this is a tough spot for Dustin May in his first outing. He hasn’t pitched now in nine days. So, this could be a a tough outing for May. I think he proves valuable to the Red Sox in the postseason, especially if they potentially utilize him out of the bullpen uh come October. However, this is a tough start here. Uh but like I said, I’m not stepping in front of this winning streak. So, we’re going to look towards a player prop. We’re going to look at Mikuel Garcia from the Royals to go over one and a half hits plus runs plus RBI’s at minus 125 at DK. He’s been redot. Uh he’s had four HRR in his last two here at Fenway against the Red Sox. He’s cleared this this line now in eight of his last 12 games uh while batting 378, three home runs, three doubles during that stretch of 12 games. And uh you look at Dustin May, he relies heavily on his sinker and his sweeper. And Garcia’s crushed both of those pitches. 365 against the sinker, 308 against the sweeper. He also went 1 for two against Dustin May earlier this season with a double. That’s the only time he’s faced May in his career. And overall in that game, he went two for five with a run scored. So that’s three uh hits plus runs plus RBI’s. It’s going to be guaranteed a full nine innings of at bats batting on the road. A favorable hitting environment at Fenway here. And I I like I said, I think May proves to be valuable to valuable to the Red Sox down the stretch, but this outing I I don’t have a ton of faith in him here. Uh like I like Waka a lot. Like I said, I’m just going to go with the player prop here. I really like this one. Garcia is in a nice spot to continue its hot streak and uh th keep thriving against those pitches that we know May is going to utilize.
