I will never forget being a farm team for big market teams. I will never take quotes like this for granted. We are in the golden age. This team can go all the way and I hope they do.
This maybe the best padres team ever if King comes back to form and Cease regains his command. We’ve essentially played without either of them making meaningful contributions all season.
For all the issues we’ve had, if these guys all play up to their talent, it can be really special.
