He had solid years in 2022 and 2023 with Cleveland and then last season when he was with the White Sox. Wasn’t terrible this season with Atlanta (4.35 ERA in 40+ games).and his outliers look solid.
My guess is this may be Neris’ or Ort’s replacement.
Also likely means Hernandez will be DFA’d since he can’t be brought back anymore this season.

Worth noting, that De Los Santos was handpicked over Ryan Pressly when both were available. Not to mention, Shawn Dubin will be activated off the IL soon, so there’ll be a number’s crunch.
