10. Great video Doug! I agree that it looks like a 4-3 defense but Chop and Chubb are not DE’s. Even the back up of Kamara as a DE looks odd. It will be interesting. Regardless, I’m excited to see our front 7!

    I think it’s interesting noting the defensive alignment but I agree – it’s not definitive. Kyle indicated that in Weaver media avail, he made vague reference to possibly using 2-3 safeties – which is also intriguing. I think Weaver wants to cook!

17. I think the depth chart is mostly an identification of a multiple scheme, it could be read as either, but considering most NFL teams rush 4 at a given time it doesn’t really matter lmao

18. I suspect they will fluctuate between 4-3 and 3-4 try to keep offensive coordinators

    I had the same exact reaction with the depth chart. I assume the DE/OLB is just a "flex" spot and one of the DE spots or some of the DE are tagged as OLB+DE role. Basically, hands down or hands up. I sent that question to Alain's mailbag because I am just CONFUSED by what we do. I expect it to be a full on 4-4 defense because we clearly run two MLBs in this scheme and it's mandatory in BAL and SF defensive schemes.
