And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this matchup from Camden Yards between the Orioles and the Athletics. The Orioles sending out Tomyuki Sugano for the start in this one. While the athletics will counter with JT Gin and uh Gin has had some up and down starts without question. You know, he’s not necessarily been a consistent part of the Orioles rotation. You know, he was used more of a relief arm earlier in the year before being brought in to eat up some innings and then, you know, took a break from the starting rotation. now has come back and in two road starts since coming back from the uh you know from from his stint away he’s been solid. I mean, one run allowed on eight hits over 11 innings work in those two games on the road. And he’s been and that just tells me the story that he’s been like a lot of the pitchers for the athletics this season that have struggled to adapt to the hitter friendly nature and the hitter friendly environment of Sutter Health Park where the A’s have been playing their home games in Sacramento. And like I said, you know, you take them on the road, five innings of one-run ball against what’s been a really hot Texas Rangers lineup. six innings of three hit shutout ball and a win against a Houston team that may have been cold but still plays their best baseball at home. So for me, I think that this could be a decent spot for JT and against Noro’s lineup that’s been relatively inconsistent in their own right. They’ve still dropped five of their last seven games entering Thursday’s action. You have Tomyuki Sugano who had a decent start at home last time out when he held down the Rockies. Six innings of one-run ball. Congrats. He did that against the Rockies, but I haven’t forgotten that he had a rough start against the the uh the Rays. He had a a competitive start against the Mets. But the Athletics have been doing a good job hitting against right-handed pitching. In the last 10 games, this has been a uh an athletic team is hitting 276. The last five games, you shorten that sample size, they go up to 284. But the Orioles, like I said, this offense has kind of cooled off a little bit. Just a 192 batting average against right-handed pitching in the last five games. And to me, I think the value here is on the athletics. You know, the Orioles look like a team that maybe, just maybe, earlier on, maybe when they had taken three or four from the Blue Jays, this could have been a team that could have maybe gotten back to 500 and if they had had a magical run in August and September, could have competed in the American League playoff hunt. But now it just kind of looks like they’re back to being the disappointing Orioles that we’ve seen for much of the season. And like I said, I think the value here if we’re going to keep catching plus money prices with the Athletics, a team that has a lot of pop in those young bats, I think this could it could be a decent money-making spot down the stretch.
