During the 2011 NBA lockout, KD visited Rucker Park and dropped 66 points. Here is a sequence of him hitting four straight threes.

  1. Nearly 15 years later and his scoring has not visibly dropped off at all lmao

    2nd greatest scorer ever imo

  2. His love for the game will always be what I remember him for. Dude absolutely loves the game and loves to hoop and it’s always shown.

  3. Seeing their talent in this context makes NBA players seem like they have super powers.

This year I watched a lot of NBA games in VR, and court-side you can really appreciate the distance from which they shoot and it looks absolutely bonkers when players drain shots from almost the logo.

  4. Being good and playing a full Rucker is up there in my “i wish” list lol

  5. Backstory

After this game is when KD started referring to himself as “The God”

  6. That’ll be remembered as the day the uniform guy forgot to pack the away kit so we got red vs orange red

  7. Great choice actually since the orange jersey unlocked KD’s Texas Longhorn powers to be fully activated

  8. I miss this Rucker Park. Watching Cooper Flagg score against All-Star Game-level defense earlier this year was an upsetting reality-check

  9. I like the guy after the second shot with the “I told you! I told you!”

Yeah, you might be on to something about this Kevin Grant guy or whatever his name is.

  10. I know it’s a boomer take, but it’s so cool seeing the place just totally locked in and celebrating with him without a phone in sight.
