Reeves by every report wants to come back. Let’s just say for bleeps and giggles, it’s a, you know, four-year deal uh at 32 that averages to 32 and a half a season. So, we’ll split that difference between 30 and 35. four years. That would be what 130 million or something like that. We’ll call it that. Do you sign Reeves to that deal? I think you sign him to the deal at the end of the day unless it’s a prohibitive number if for no other reason than to have the salary slot accounted for because it could allow you make to make deals down the code.

  4. Is he worth $30million a year? Are we paying him for his regular season performance? Yes. Based on his playoff performance? No. Why you take this $30 million plus the $11 million from Maxi total $41million. Then go get Lauri M, or Jones from Pelicans. Then when LaBron retires or traded go get Giannis. I know Luka wants to play with Joker but Joker Luka is not near as impossing as Giannis Luka combination. Strictly due to the difference in athleticism and vertically difference which Luka feeds off of assisting.

  5. For Reeves to get the $30 million per year he has to drastically improve especially in the playoffs. And must improve on the D side he will never be Luka and Luka will never be a great defender. But if Luka Reeves is going to be our backcourt for the next 3 to 4 years then both will have to get much better. If you can get Holiday then trade him right now, Holiday & Smart as off guards to Luka definitely better on D side. Can you pay him that much to be a 6th man? Had i rather have Reeves or
    Laurie or Jones? Obviously Lakers will go strong after Joker or Giannis in 2027.
