Cade Cavalli Dominates And The Washington Nationals Get The Walk Off Win Thanks To CJ Abrams!
The Washington Nationals needed a win and they got a win. And of course, Cade Kabali made his first start since 2022 and he dominated. I’m Ryan Clar from Locked on Nationals and the Nationals get the walk-off win in the ninth inning. But before we get into that, Cade Kavali making his first start since 2022 in the big leagues. He looked awesome tonight. Four and a third innings pitch, 88 pitches, struck out six batters, three up, three down his first two innings. That is what you wanted to see from the former first round pick and someone who was a top 100 prospect. So, we’ll have much more on Cade Kavali and how good he was in tomorrow’s show. But in that ninth inning, of course, CJ Abrams with the walk-off hit. Robert Hassel the third did get it started with the nice little double there, but Jacob Young almost tried to ruin the game for us. Had a bunt out after being up 3 0 in the count. But then comes CJ Abrams to save the day. Again, a beautiful hit into left field. Robert Hassel the third made it tight at home, but ultimately was safe. And the Washington Nationals get the win two to one in walk-off fashion.
