It was cool.
Unless you were that one kid that got the foul ball ripped out of your hands.
I suppose Young Curt would be a good source for what the youth think
I was at the game. For the “dog days of summer” that crowd was electric.
Look, we are all fans already…. children are the lifeblood to keep the game going. So if you can get them to enjoy the game you best bet you got at least a half way fan of the game who will pay some attention to it and maybe toss in a few bucks a year.
This is why I dont mind just having a team that is good and competes every year. Its fun to watch. I rather be knocked out in the first round every year than have to deal with what the teams the A’s are putting out there.
Took two of my daughters last night. Fifth game of the year for both. They thought Megill’s entrance was the coolest thing all season.
We left to beat traffic, trusting Megill. The game length and heat was tough on a five year old. Didn’t think it was gonna end like that!
Im damn near 40 and left last nights game thinking baseball is the coolest thing
