People need to put respect on Pierce’s name. He says some goofy shit but he was a straight dog
Classic Bron and Pierce
Such a great game and series! In KG’s words after this game 7, “It was get Paul Pierce the ball and get the hell out of the way.”
Such a great series
Pierce was a dawg on the Celtics
What’s up with all the Bron posts? The only thing that’s been on my TL from this sub for the past 2-3 days.
I’m not complaining but geez Bron PR team working Overtime. Can we get some D Rose Highlights maybe some Kawhi?
Used to love Pierce before the advent of social media 🚀
Bron had to so thoroughly dominate a top ten player it made up for the Cavs being wildly overmatched at three other positions (rondo-allen-kg vs Boobie Gibson-Delonte West-Drew Gooden) and if he didn’t we got mad at him.
Since this is apparently my job now, here’s the full thing on Youtube, without the shaky-cam, and without being edited down to nothing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66FNMqAAmX4
LeBron took this team to 7 games at 23 years old
Kobe lost in 6 games by 39 points at the peak of his career
This is the last time LeBron lost a Game 7. He started 0-2 and then won six straight: 2012 ECF vs Boston, 2013 ECF vs Indiana, 2013 Finals vs Spurs, 2016 Finals vs Golden State, 2018 R1 vs Indiana, 2018 ECF vs Boston. He hasn’t played a Game 7 since 2018. His averages in Game 7s are 35/10/6. He has also never played less than 40 minutes in a Game 7 and only played below 45 minutes in the two games against Indy.
I wish I could have just ignored all social media involving pierce after he retired because before that I loved him
No wonder Pierce is the GOAT in his mind. He probably replays these moments in his head all the time.
People will look at the Cavs roster and all LeBron had to do just to get wins and act surprised he went to Miami to play with Bosh and Wade
This could’ve been Hali and SGA </3
single game this could be it from recent memory. for an entire series i’d take allen iverson vs vince carter 7-game series in the 2001 playoffs
FUCK YEAH BABY
Paul Pierce in retirement is a goofball but more people should know how much of an absolute dog he was when he was playing. There was a time when I would have rather had him to close a game than anybody but Kobe.
The cavs were good defensively but horrible offensively outside of LeBron ( lebron was a below avg perimeter shooter)
The real nba finals in 2008
I love Big Z, but it was a cr8me watching him defend PnRs.
Actual debate people should be having is Pierce or T-Mac?
I love that smokey look in the arena. Gives real old school classic vibes.
