Pirates risk revolt if Bob Nutting’s mismanagement continues

  1. I hope they don’t end up trading Paul Skenes at the deadline next season but I have a feeling they probably will

Hopefully the Pirates are surprisingly in contention at the trade deadline in 2026 so they don’t move him

  2. Spoiler alert, Nutting will keep running the Pirates like he has.

When you realize he views the team as an investment and he’s wildly conservative with risks, all of his decisions make sense. He won’t allow this team to spend more money until they’re already earning that much.

  3. The article reads like a high school student generated it with a two year old AI model.

  4. We dont need a boycott, we dont need a protest, we need a full-blown mutiny.

  5. The amount he extrapolated from the handful of words Chandler said is unreal. I’m not saying he’s wrong, but goddamn.

  6. Bubba Chandler not being up is separate from nutting’s mismanagement.

Guy hasn’t forced his way into the rotation this year by any means.

  7. Is boycotting the team even an option? One of Oakland’s main reasons for leaving was that “the area couldn’t support the team” due to low attendance. And how much less is Nutting actually making with lower attendance? I figure most of the profits come from revenue sharing. I feel like a better option, at least for a week or two stretch, would be to pack the ballpark night in and night out with signs, chants, etc showing the frustration of the fan base. Prove to both the team and the national landscape that fans care about the team and will show up.

  8. We have a lot of things to be mad at Nutting and the management team about. Bubba not being up yet isn’t one of those things.

  9. That’s not at all what Chandler said. Didn’t even come close to implying that. What a reach

  10. I love these posts. But I also know nothing will change until he dies or sells. Which might or might not happen in my lifetime.

  11. Bob is not selling. He is leaving the team he team to his children. You want a change you know it needs to be in his children’s hands.
