  1. Yankees did everything to lose this game and we still let them have it.

    Fuck you Yainer and King

  2. That was pretty disappointing. Hope that Espada leans on Sousa more than King in the future.

  3. Rough loss. I’m sure r/astros will handle this well and the comments will be rational.

  4. Have to win tomorrow, no other way to put it.

Yainer had such a good month and then horrifically regressed today of all days

And King is not a leverage guy anymore unfortunately. Sousa should take his spot when available, he’s been getting hammered lately. But giving up the HR to Grisham of all people who SUCKS against lefties is inexcusable, hand delivered a meatball

Win tomorrow, hope the Rays win tonight, and we move. The Yankees quite literally have no one in the bullpen for tomorrow, take advantage of that

  5. Well shit, that was anticlimactic.

Hope we can tag Fried tomorrow i guess. He has been struggling a lot recently, so hopefully his struggles continue against us

  6. Back to back bad starts from Framber, squandered bases loaded with 1 out because we chase out of the zone, and King serves up an absolute meatball for the go ahead homer.

And tomorrow we get Fried, their best starter (our guys have a .621 career OPS against him)

This series started out promising after winning last night.

    Mariners gotta lose tonight.

  7. Gonna be half a game ahead once seattle wins.

You cant be blowing opportunities every day and expect to win the division

  8. Another loss that could’ve been avoided if the team could hit just once with RISP

  9. We have this nasty habit of playing down to competition. There was no reason that this team couldn’t put up 7-8 runs with all the opportunities they had. Baseball is dumb.

  10. At times we look like we just coast through the middle innings and only wake up towards the end. That’s fine if you have a killer instinct, but multiple games recently we’ve had big opportunities to seal a game or blow it totally open and failed to do it. This was excusable when we were playing with so many injuries and it felt like those 1 run wins and tight comebacks were awesome. But this lineup needs to be more clutch than our AAA lineup was.

  11. TK said King has now given up runs in 4 out of his last 5 appearances. Surely we could have used Sousa, he only threw 16 pitches last night.

  12. We need the rake and yordan back, they at least bring more clutch than the back half of the order

  13. Framber has unfortunately had 2 terrible outings in a row. Despite that we still had a chance. Fuck.

  14. Just get the series win tomorrow and prepare for Correa’s welcome back home on Monday. I think the offense will explode when they return home.

  15. This team is allergic to hitting with RISP. At the point in the season, we’re now desperately relying on other teams to help us out… Not where you want to be at all.

  16. So Alexander is starting tomorrow if he pitches like he did his last outing we have a chance to win the series

  17. Leaving bases loaded with only 1 out and unable to bring in a single run off of that just hurts.

  18. King has been rough of late. Probably trust Okert and Sousa more than him currently

  19. Correa has been fantastic. It’s only been a week but I know we’ll see more of his leadership on display and the effect it will have on the team. I know it seems like the sky is falling but just give it a little bit. He’s walking the walk.
