  1. Kind of a boring game after the second inning, but exactly the kind of boring we needed.

Sucks the brewers won but at least it meant the Mets lost.

  2. Just get back to doing this and winning games and maybe Bob Uecker’s ghost will eventually get tired of being the angel in the outfield for the Brewers.

  3. Nice, boring game. That kid in the stands dressed in full umpire gear (and calling balls-strikes) was pretty funny

  4. Of course when I’m on a flight we absolutely rout the cardinals and I didn’t get to watch a single pitch. Fml

  5. PCA may never get a hit again… dudes gotta be hitting a solid .132 since the ASG. Been completely lost at the plate

  6. Hopefully this wasn’t a blip and our guys are back on track.

We are now undefeated when Pat Hughes says “say it don’t spray it.”

  7. I almost bought tickets to this game. I live in STL (unfortunately) and was on StubHub a few weekends ago. Made it to the page with the 10 minute timer. Something told me not to go. As a lifelong Cub fan who has witnessed only 1 win in person in 5 games attended, I’m starting to question if I should go to any more games for a while 😅🤣

    Edit: typos

  8. Great outing for Rea, bounce back game for the offense, beating up the shitbirds at their house. Chef’s kiss. Let’s go get that series dub tomorrow.

  9. Great to see the boys hitting again, but PCA needs to figure something out. Been hitting .222 since the break.

  10. Much better offense this game. We can still win the division back by the end of the month. Cubs just need to remain close to Brewers.

    On to tomorrow for Shota!

  11. whoa whoa whoa we’re allowed to do this? 9 runs? are we sure we’re not breaking the rules? seems wrong.

  12. The challenge now is to be consistent and keep this offensive production for an extended period of time

  13. Petty AF but watching Willson give away a run with that nutmeg gave me a surprising amount of joy

  14. It’s really promising that the bright lights since the ASG have been the young guys. Shaw and Horton specifically

  15. Felt a bit more like the pre all-star break cubbies! Let’s try to get hot and hope that the Brewers get cold
