Once upon a time, we had a 95+% chance to make playoffs and we were heavy favorites to win the division.

Big game today because:
1. The Mariners keep winning
2. We haven’t won a series against a team over .500 since the Dodgers OVER A MONTH AGO.

  1. I keep imagining us with Yordan, Paredes, Meyers, and our list of starting pitchers back. The team would be stacked.. we were bound to fall back down to earth sometime.

  3. Mariners are on one hell of a hotstreak right now, no denying that. Our main hope is their schedule gets MUCH harder and they have to go on the road soon, while we will have a much easier schedule post Red Sox series coming up

    Just keep winning series. Mariners won’t be winning at the clip they are winning at forever, and if we beat the Yankees we will be 2-1 in series since the trade deadline

  4. I think after the trade deadline the Mariners probably have a more complete team than us IMO. Better starting pitching and a more complete lineup. We have the better bullpen though.

    Seattles offense is significantly better than ours. We have no power bats, they do.

    They have 8 people with an above league average ops. In short our offense isnt capable of keeping up
