  1. This is arguably Steph’s best game in his career in terms of significance.

Winning this chip and finally getting a FMVP cemented his legacy.

  2. One of the best finals performances of all time, really cemented Steph’s legacy as being dominant in the finals

  3. The ring we did get makes up for it, but I’ll always be sad this Celtics team won’t be remembered. A defensive juggernaut of home grown players that were .500 in January and had an incredible end of season + playoff run. So many iconic moments too.

    Curry was just too good.

  4. Ngl, I got Steph at #4 on my all time list. He checks all the boxes to be in the goat conversation

  5. Warriors in this series with Stephen Curry on the court: 116 ORTG

Warriors in this series with Stephen Curry off the court: 90 ORTG

  6. This is awesome but question. Can you catch a pass after moving out of bounds and re entering the court? Not really sure about the rules concerning that

  7. There are 10 players in the NBA right now who can carry their team on their own to get to the playoffs: besides the obvious: Jokic, SGA, Giannis, Tatum, KD, there is also Antman, AD, Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker and Steph.

  8. Does Steph Curry have any haters? I bet even Celtics fans enjoyed watching his greatness

  9. I’ll remember this Finals series as the one in which Andrew Wiggins owned Jayson Tatum.

  10. Man I remember this like it was yesterday. Warriors kinda felt dead in the water after the half but Steph came out blazing man, he would not let them lose. Broke was burning banks, no rimming threes, this was 99 OVR Steph

  11. I remember him saying he was screwing and going at the crowd early on intentionally, to take the focus off Draymond

  12. Celts were completely out of gas at this point, having dug themselves into a 17-19 hole to start the season before righting their ship in January — and then basically played at top effort for the entire rest of the year, going 34-12.

GSW spent February and March going 5-5 and then 5-10 due to injury before ramping back up to go 5-0 in April heading into the playoffs.

There are a slew of reasons why the Warriors were the more deserving champion that year but I always thought this pointed at the disparity in experience at all levels, not just players but coaching as well. The Celts were completely spent midway through the finals while the Warriors seemed to be continuing to get better. To me that showed Ime Udoka as a rookie coach not knowing how to manage an elite team’s journey deep into a championship run vs. Steve Kerr having successfully done so time and time again.

Plus they had Steph Curry, which is just kind of unfair in general.

  13. Seeing him go midrange off the glass is mad funny, he said let me reach in my Tim Duncan bag real quick lol
