And if you have, if you’re new, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this matchup between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros. You got the New York Yankees sending out Max Freed for the start in this one. No starter confirmed for the Houston Astros. At the time this video is being recorded. At one point I did see Jason Alexander uh listed as the starter. We’ll have to see if that ends up being the case for the Astros. But, you know, the Yankees did get some get back over the uh the Astros on Saturday, winning that game five to four. Late home run from Trent Gisham was the difference. But, you know, still it doesn’t change the fact that for me the Yankees are just a little bit shaky right now. You know, this is still a Yankees lineup that yeah, was able to pick up the win and you know, they do move to 62 and 55 on the season. And, you know, the teams around them, it’s been a bit of an up and down, you know, stretch for the Yankees. I mean, this is still a Yankees lineup that even with the win is still six games back of the Blue Jays in the division. You know, the Red Sox have surged past them with a hot run in the month of uh the month of July and August, but the Yankees at times just don’t look like the Yankees. Now, I get it. Part of it’s because of the Aaron Judge injury, but that’s not the end the beall and endall. And you know, Devin Williams is really I don’t know how he’s holding on to a spot in this uh in this Yankee rotation with how many mistakes he has made in the last few weeks. But I think this is another spot where, you know, maybe the the Yankees could falter. You know, Max Freed has not been as sharp since the basically since the beginning of July. More often than not, you know, Freed is giving up three, four runs in a start. He’s been a five to six inning guy, so I can’t take that away from him. But a 5.81 81 ERA is a far cry from the sub 2 erra he was carrying into the month of July. So it’s hard for me to get there with Max Freed, especially against an Astros lineup that historically has hit left-handed pitching very well. Now, yes, in the last two weeks, they haven’t necessarily been that. This has been a team with a bit of a high strikeout rate and a batting average just above 200 against left-handed pitching, but I still think they can get to Freed for a few runs here, get to this Yankee bullpen, which is, like I mentioned, has been extremely problematic over the course of this one. They do have a 4.08 RA out of the pen in the last two weeks. For me, you know, Houston top five bullpen erra in baseball in the last two weeks. I think that this is, you know, a Yankee lineup that has been so wildly inconsistent, you know, against lefties, against righties. And I think in the end, the Astros win the series here. So, I’m going to roll with Houston in this one on the money line. And that’s going to be my free pick.
