Sorry but this FO failed horribly with background checks on Wander Franco. I don’t care how good of a baseball player anyone has the potential to become. There needs to be ZERO doubt and some accountability this time. Any background checks need to be signed off by Manfred. I don’t trust him for much, but I trust the commissioner to take no risks and cover his ass.
Lock him up for 8 years, his value to wankees or doggers at that time will be off the charts and they can ride the downward trajectory
