One year ago today, Curry hits four straight threes down the stretch, including his iconic night night dagger against two defenders, to win the Gold Medal game in Olympics

  1. So glad I woke up early to watch this, even as a neutral.

I remember cheering for the US and being nervous after France made it close.

This stretch, particularly the “golden dagger” shot had me shocked. Fantastic fun to watch.

  2. If this had happened on an NBA stage it’d have vaulted him into top 5 contention imo, maybe it still does tbh 😂

  3. Curry thought “alright, that’s enough” and won the game. The last 3 minutes were absolutely insane.

  4. screamed at the top of my lungs this entire last two minutes of this game. to show the entire fucking WORLD who you are gives me goosebumps

  5. this game and the USA/Serbia game were the most i’ve enjoyed olympic basketball in decades

  6. “That chemistry gonna help you when you gotta guard Steph?” – KD ahead of this matchup will always be funny. The look on his face too before the last 3 like ‘bruh you can’t miss right now just throw it up, hoop down there somewhere’

  7. For a few days there, we were all collectively losing our minds. It was beautiful

  8. KD and LeBron were wide open on that last shot, but Steph said fuck it, I’m hot.

  9. This is one of those clips where you can truly say only ONE NBA player in history is hitting those shots consecutively, top 10 player all time in my book

  10. If Curry is not top 10 on your list after witnessing this, I don’t know what else he can do to convince you otherwise. He cooked both the NBA and international games. Only a handful of all-time players can do that.

  11. I watched this live with my cousin last year, he was 11 at the time. For his next birthday hr asked me for 2K as a present instead of FIFA and now it’s all he plays. Thank you Steph 🙏🏾

  12. That last shot still blows my mind. The fact that Kevin Durant, one of the greatest offensive talents of all time and the greatest US Olympic basketball player of all time is 1-on-1 with a guy 8 inches shorter than him and elects to pass the ball to a double-teamed 6’3” Curry because he knows it’s a better shot is outrageous. Curry is just that dude

  13. This is the perfect example of why Curry is so difficult to rank all time. He is miles ahead of everyone ever at one particular skill, and that one particular skill is like a cheat code for winning games.

  14. Watching this live was special. Greatest shooter of all time and that last shot had me going wild how does he hit that lol

  15. can’t recommend the netflix doc on this enough. skip to the last episode if you want to see just this game, but it’s all so good and the camera angles and quality of footage is incredible.

  16. The thing that makes me smile the most here (other than the curry magic) is on the night night shot KD in the upper right corner watches it hit and rolls his head like “this fucker really hit that omg”

  17. So crazy to think how in that last shot KD, Bron, and Booker had technically better looks than Curry who had 2 defenders, but he was still the best option of the 4 lol

  18. Adam Silver watches the game flow of these matchups and thinks “no way, just not entertaining enough”

  19. Being able to do the “night-night” in the gold medal game has to be a career highlight. Not too many opportunities for that.

  20. Hitting the last three and then the night night celebration afterwards literally gave me goosebumps when I saw it live.

  21. That last shot will be one of the most iconic, legendary shots in the next 10-20 years

  22. So glad non-Warriors fans got to experience the magic of a good skyfucking for once.

  23. Curry, the only person in the world allowed to take a 2 defending person contested 3 with Lebron and KD wide open. Then you see KD and LeBron reaction after and you realize you just watched a historic moment

  24. The French commentary where he says “ this devil Curry is hurting us” was soooo iconic
