Johnson the back over the middle has his man Mason Rudolph goes to Mount Washington. That’s a 19 yd touchdown strike and Darnell Washington says I’m here baby. That’s a touchdown. The Steelers have the lead. You called it Bob. You said I want to see more of him in the red zone. Darnell Washington, third year out of Georgia, working away in the middle of the field and using that big body presence. 743 yards. Hunter when he was in there, two catches for nine yards. This time it’s Mullins and he’s going to dump it off and a nice hit right in the flat. A beautiful tackle there for the Steelers. Parker Washington gets minus two yds. Second down and short now for the Steelers and it’s Caleb Johnson gets the hand off. stutter steps, avoids a tackler, and he gets first down yardage across the 48 to about the 49 yd line. That’s a gain of nine yardds. First half, it’s third and four for Jacksonville. They trail 7 to six. Couple of field goals. That’s it for them. Mullins now a little bit of a wheel route to the outside. By Beanie Bishop once again was there in coverage. And they really like what he’s been able to do. And Mike Tomlin leads the charge. Third and six to go. And this is Skyler Thompson under throwing a bit. Did he make the catch over there? here. It looks like it is a catch. A big third down. So now they continue to move. First and 10. Thompson into the end zone. Finding his man and it’s a good reception right there. A beautiful throw by Thompson in coverage. And then we just talked about Max Hurlman. It’s first and goal for the Steelers. 28 seconds left. Mike Tomlin and company like this situation with their offense operating in the red zone. And now it’s a touchdown from Skyler Thompson to Hurlman. And he gets in the end zone for the second score of the night for the Steelers. And they improve their lead. And boy, what a good drive by Skyler Thompson. Can’t say enough about his accuracy. And the two-minute drill is something that coach Tomlin always talks about in training camp. You don’t know if you’re going to get your opportunity cuz sometimes there’s only two quarterbacks running that. But Scalard did a nice job from the point of where he started. Two big throws in the middle of the field. made the audible and knew where he wanted to go. We’ll see. I mean, he’s got legs. There’s no question. They drafted him last year. He came up big for them. The kick is up. The kick is on its way. And the kick is good. Can you believe it? 70 yds in Jacksonville sideline erupts. Mullins pressure, throws, connects, and it’s a touchdown. And it’s Trenton Irwin. Thompson again in the shotgun. Here comes the blitz underneath and it goes to Trey Surving following his blockers and he doesn’t even need him. He gets into the end zone for the touchdown. Good recognition by Skyler Thompson and the Steelers have their third touchdown. It’s 11 yds. Thompson to Surman. Beautiful play call by Arthur Smith right there realizing the speed of the Jacksonville. They’re rushing the passer. That’s where you set up the screen. Really think of. All right, third and seven. Big play for the Steeler defense and it’s underneath. It’s going to get first time yardage and more. That is a reception by Dorian Singer and Thomas and Brown. But they’re looking for some reserves. This is a handoff up the middle and it’s Toutton who keeps on pushing. Toutton trying to get to the end zone and eventually does to make a name for himself or a practice squad opportunity. Second and eight. Pressure comes and the ball is thrown and it’s caught for a touchdown in the end zone. Kean Williams. And boy does Skyler Thompson enjoy that one. He felt the pressure. He put it up right on the money. 27 yds in the end zone. And Keshan Williams has a touchdown. This is it. Arthur Smith. He felt the pressure that was happening. He called two big plays in the red zone the last couple times they were in there. And here he is now dialing up the go route, anticipating the blitz. Steelers looking to come after him. Sideline throw. Very good tackle right there. And that’s going to wrap this game up. That should be Daryl Porter comes in and makes it and there’s not going to be any time. Porter with a good play to keep the runner inbounds so they had no chance of stopping the clock. A number 39 comes up with a big play and Mike Toblin has a smile on his face. Strawberry.
