MULTIPLE Bruins Moves Coming… Report Reveals MAJOR Bruins Trade Updates | Boston Bruins News

More moves appear to be coming for this Boston Bruins teams as multiple new reports have come out detailing possibilities of moves that will be made before the season even starts. We need to break this down, go over this based on the Bruins standpoint heading into this season, as well as going over what moves are going to be made here before this season starts. Before we do jump into all of this news here today though, ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t already, be sure to hit the sub button. We’re on the road to AK and your sports absolutely incredible as of late. We know just over 60% of you guys as well watching right now are not subscribed to the channel. But let’s get straight into this because there’s a lot of Bruins reports that are continuing to come out and kind of detailing every aspect of this team. Multiple new moves and quite a few different sources as well are all putting this out which is peing the interest of a lot of Bruins fans right now. And I want to first pull up this right here. This comes from heavy.com going over a little bit from RG Media as well in this kind of a correlated article. This one says Middlestad relatively underwhelming numbers in Colorado prompted the Avalanche to move on from him with the Bruins 26-year-old scored just four goals in 18 games. He remains on the team’s roster, but the Bruins could be looking to move Middlestat as soon as they get the chance. Now, this all speculates from this big quote right here really from heavy.com going into it. is as a report published in RG media on August 10th discussed comments by an anonymous source assuring that the Bruins never really intended to keep Middlestat when the team acquired him from the Colorado Avalanche. So this kind of adds another layer into what we’ve really gotten from that return of course for what was Charlie Coyle for Will William Zellers going into of course Casey Middles and a second round pick probably one of the biggest steals in a trade in quite some time just across the NHL as a whole but when you’re coming into this if this was the Bruins plan originally to get and get Casey Middlestat and use him as some sort of filler in another trade this makes quite a bit of sense as to kind of the idea a that we saw Don Sweeney go about in last trade deadline. And I feel like putting this into perspective as well at this point right now, it makes still a lot of sense with the sheer amount of centers they have, not just on the roster right now, but also coming up in the prospect pool, which we’re going to be jumping into here in a few minutes. It really makes a lot of sense that they could use Casey Middlestat as that still 26-year-old. If 18 can turn him into the player that we all thought he would be, that could be a very big win in a trade for him. And I’m still thinking even though he has been great, he still has quite a bit of value here on the market. And I think that there’s something that the Bruins are going to try to explore here continuing into this off season. Now going into Casey Middlestat and having the possibility of moving him compared with anybody else, we’ve seen him and Zaka really switch spots quite a few times here on Puck Beia’s lineup in the summer. Now, a lot of this due to the left wing, center, you know, swapping those players around. They could both play there. We saw Pablo Zaka up in the middle on the first line and on the left wing last year on that first line really going into it. And when you’re looking at the Bruins lineup here, you just take a look. You see Lindholm, Deiki, Middlestat, Quatra, Zaka, Corali, Mikey, Asima, John Beecher, Mark Castlick, you know, they could all play center and all have played center quite a bit over the last few years. So, kind of putting this into perspective, obviously you would love to have as many centers as you can, especially if you’re going on some sort of pen penalty killing or someone kicked off the faceoff power play, there’s lots of options for the Bruins to use here, but now having Casey Middlestat thrown into this and likely being traded, these reports are saying, it’s a lot of kind of interesting ideas as to what the Bruins will bring back into this lineup and really looking to add into the top six. Now, another part of this uh article came out, and this one is from the RG’s media source, saying, “I think a lot of teams have been and are expecting the Bruins to flip him at some point, but where’s his value at right now? If that’s the case, they may just see how it goes in into this season, maybe he reshapes his value, and if they’re out of it again at the next trade deadline, then they move him then and parlay him into another pick or prospect.” So, this is really what I have at least been kind of anticipating on the side of Casey Middlestad that they’re going to really just kind of keep an eye on him and see where things go, especially with where his value is right now after his tenure with the Bruins and yet a short tenure and on a pretty bad team with a lot of moving parts on that forward core last year. But going into this season, I think there’s a, as I mentioned as well, I’m very adamant. I think Casey Middles has a very good player. He just needs to get that unlocked and if that happens, he will be a great player for this Bruins team. But it makes sense to more so just wait until, you know, he gets his bearings with the Bruins, I guess we could say, and actually gets into the rhythm. And I hope this summer does that for him and ultimately boosts his value up incredibly next year and also comes in to be able to stay on this team going and making moves elsewhere because we’ve been seeing so much stuff that, as I mentioned, we’re going to jump into a little bit more of that and some more moves here in a moment. But just putting in the perspective of Casey Middlestat, it makes a lot of sense. And as you kind of see the article continues on here saying the Bruins may decide to hold on to Casey Middlestad if he has a solid start to the season. The Bruins do need depth down the middle if Saka and or Eliz continue to underperform. A permanent spot for Middlestad could emerge. And of course Zaka’s been in so many rumors. Lol not so much, but we’ve really seen him become a player that we thought he was going to be at the end of last season. And I’m pretty confident that we’re going to see that again next year. And as we saw on the lines there, he is currently sitting at the first line center between Geeki and Pos. still think that’s going to be kind of a permanent line or emerge as a permanent line and one that is just going to be a very good one across the NHL especially the way that we saw that play out last year. So going into that I think it makes a lot of sense there. elsewhere whether it’s Middlestat or Zaka potentially being in any sort of trade. I think it makes sense and especially at a $5.75 million capit for two more seasons heading into next year this next upcoming season and the one after if he doesn’t perform as well as what we need him to or even you know at a baseline he needs to be out of here on this team due to the sheer amount of cap that he’s going to be holding and what the Bruins are going to be trying to do in free agency over the next few seasons will have a drastic impact on what will happen with Casey Middlestat and I think vice versa as well. It will also matter if Casey Middlestat is going to be a part of this team for the future or not. And that will really determine what the plan is going forward for this team. But also continuing on to it, one more thing before we do jump into the continuation of another kind of trade reports and articles that we’re seeing. The cap projection over the next few years is projected to take a major jump. So let’s say we look at 2627, you take out 6 million, we’ll call it on that. The Bruins find themselves at 26 million rather than just kind of a 20 there. And that 6 million could be used on a very important piece whether it be uh you know upfront on the back side of things or even just going for a little bit of depth. You know they have a lot of money to be able to spend there and an extra 6 million will be a very important part of that. Now going into it as well it’s not just Casey Middlestat. I’ve been talking about Pavo Zaka quite a bit here in this off seasonason as well as Jones Corposal not as much lately but this comes out from NHL rumor report from Jamie Murphy. Trade rumors continue to surround the Boston Bruins with Corp Basalo and Pablo Zaka’s name consistently coming up and this comes from also today from RG Media. Now RG media really kind of growing quite quickly here. It is Marco Demo and Jimmy Murphy. So I know you guys, you know, want to take your stuff with a grain of salt from Jimmy Murphy, but he’s in the team involved with the team a bit more than us. So it makes sense and I still listen to what he has to say because a lot of this kind of is going to be a big part of speculation for the remainder of the season. Now heading into it, Pablo Zaka I think is one that it’s probably a 5050% chance. You’re seeing him linked with Zaka him Zaka, excuse me, linked with Casey Middlestat here on these kind of trade reports and what will happen within the lines and whatnot. Y Corpalo kind of seeming like he said he wanted to get a trade out of there out of Boston last year after kind of feeling disrespected with Swayman. Kind of going back on his words then probably because he don’t want to lose out on any money if he has bought out or whatnot. But, you know, to me it just seems that that is way too much to have as a backup, even though he is a very solid goalender on that side of things. But going into it as well, you know, someone replied to this tweet from uh RG Media there coming out over NHL rumor report saying who will replace, you know, whether it is going to be Pablo Zako, whether it is Casey Middlestat over the next few years. And most of what you see here and most of everybody is a center. There’s a few defenseman and a few wingers here to throw in, but there are so many centers still in the prospect pool for this Bruins team. And a lot of people are kind of anticipating some of these players to take the jump as early as not next season but the season after and really gives way for the Bruins to make some moves down the middle. So let me know what you think about all this stuff here in the comments below. Are you really seeing anybody here in this kind of uh report, these fewer reports, these three players being traded? Because reports are continuing to heat up. And you know, right now at least, it seems like we’re still in that little bit of kind of dog days of summer, but more people are still coming out saying that the Bruins are going to be adding. And at this point right now, the sheer amount of times we’ve seen it, there’s something in me that’s making me believe it more and more by the day. So, I’ll be keeping you guys updated with all of this stuff here as we go on throughout the offseason. And we’re going to still see quite a few moves. And if the Bruins get something for Casey Middlestad, as you saw that article say, as early as possible, we may see a very interesting move for this Boston Bruins team. But that is all I have in this video. Let me know what you think. But if you did enjoy, give it a like. Hit the sub button as well. I’m signing out though. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you later.

  1. The next season should be about restocking the cupboard with young players with potential. Move out Zacha for something similar to what they got for Coyle. Move Mittelstadt for something at the deadline and give the young guys like, Lysell, Poitras and Merkulov ice time from the start. It’s time for these guys to show if they’re worthy of a full time role with the Bruins.
