Astros just made childs play of the Yankees..Aaron Boone ejected again

Yankees and the Astros. There really isn’t much to talk about this game. Jose Altuve once again, his 15th home run off the Yankees, his 250th in his career. And Aaron Boon’s going to get himself ejected very early in this game on a pitch that I actually thought wasn’t that bad to Ryan McMahon. But Boon was more upset about a couple calls earlier. One to Aaron Judge, this one to Trent Gisham. Boon put up fingers like that’s the fourth time, but I really only counted two other ones. So in my book, that’s three. And I’ve said it a hundred times. I really do like how Aaron Boon protects his players, but this team is so inconsistent that even these kind of arguments. I’m tired of it. I’m just tired of the same old same old with this team. Well, Boon doesn’t like the low strike calls that they’ve been getting. So, you heard him say, “You’ve got to fix that.” Well, he did not like that low strike call on that pitch to McMahon, but I think it’s been a combination of things, Paul. That low strikes call the wife mentioned it earlier. I would think he has to be thrown out because you’re not allowed to argue. I was going to say this is not he get crazy enough Devin Williams came in the sixth inning and strikes out the side. What do you know? No pressure. Devin Williams can actually do something. But the rest of the Yankees did absolutely nothing today. Losing the game 7 to1. Carlos Kareah back with the Astros. And it’s like nothing changed. He goes yard here. And then I don’t really even blame Bellinger for this, but it was so ugly that I need to add it. It’s just the way the Yankee season has been going. Playing it as Bellinger. He can’t make the throw and Alt scores. And then it just slips out as he tries to make that throw home. It’s ugly for the Yankees. It’s ugly. Yankees lose the game seven to one, lose the series again. I mean, I’m not even mad anymore. It’s just I’m at the point where it’s so frustrating to watch. But you know what? I’m going to keep watching every single day because I’m a Yankee fan. Good or bad times.

  1. Can’t blame this on Jazz.
At SOME point wouldn’t conventional wisdom dictate that a new voice in the room would be on order? Still not sure how this team made it to the “World Series” last season.

  2. If there is ever a desire to win….Day 1 – Fire Boone, trade/send to Scranton – Volpe, Williams, name the next 5…..just a bad baseball team that Hal has zero desire to see win a series. Still making bank when they stink up the field.

  3. i think the biggest contributor to the team being inconsistent is the lineups. There's no consistency anywhere on the team so the guys can't build routine, familiarity, and muscle memory. Yesterday's lineup is what should have been our routine lineup all season. The big guns Goldy, Judge, Belli, Stanton leading off setting the tone. Not grisham and rice. I guarantee we'd have a much better record with that lineup and likely less pressure on defense due to great offense.

  4. But I was told that this team is better than last years team?? A+ trade deadline and “let Cashman cook” 🤦‍♂️ keep buying hotdogs and chicken buckets because nothing will change. Baboone must have a mountain of blackmail under his feet because better mangers were fired for less. Embarrassed in the World Series and he gets an extension?????? WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING

  5. I've never laughed so hard in my life watching a game 😂😂 and the fact it was Bellinger makes it so much sweeter. Btw keep booing Altuve please. K thanksssss

  6. I respect your position. Take it from this Astros fan, they’re in the middle of a total collapse, and it’s painful to watch, too. Yanks will be there in the end. Mark my words.

  7. I went to the Somerset Patriots game today hosting the Ponies and I'm ngl, that game was more interesting to watch than the Yankees. No stupid and silly errors

  8. As an Astros I’m happy to see bellinger suffering from a ring especially how he was talking shit to the Astros and now he gets a karma and not win a World Series like astros do.

  9. Look…I'm a White Sox fan. Enuf said about that. The Yankees are the classiest organization in baseball, always have been and always will be, despite the beards and tattoos. They just simply aren't The Bronx Bombers lately. When they start hitting again (and they will), then the pitching will kick in, too. Pulling for you!

  10. As a yankees fan I know that even if they make it to the postseason they won't make it very far. My hope is they don't make the playoffs this year, that way they can make some serious changes in the offseason. There needs to be an overhaul.

  11. Do get the feeling Grunt, that your Yankees won't make the playoffs, just don't see the consistency of picturing them going on a run. No leadership on the team, Boone no impact, Aaron Judge just not born to be a vocal leader, not his style. Max Fried got them on the wrong foot, Bellinger couldn't throw the ball, Devin Williams with 3 strikeouts, but not really impactful cause the team was still trailing.
