MVP vs MVP vs MVP HRD vs MVP ASG

Wow! Cal and the Mariners are on fire. Shohei and the Dodgers are not on fire. Shohei hit a homer but the Dodgers didn't win. The Red Sox are also not on fire. Aaron and Kyle did not hit a hr.

Cal Raleigh

.247, 45, 98, 108 hits, .947, 5.3 WAR

Shohei Ohtani

.284, 41, 77, 129 hits, 1.008, 5.7 WAR

Kyle Schwarber

.252, 41, 95, 109 hits, .957, 3.9 WAR

Aaron Judge

  1. How does this guy have lower WAR than Judge and Shohei despite having more home runs and playing catcher?

    Greater OPS?

  2. Raleigh has now tied Johnny Bench’s record for most HR by a catcher in a season. He’s 3 away from tying Salvador Perez, and Seattle’s next series is against Baltimore. I fully expect Cal to reach 50, even 55 on the year.
