We got game two of the series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Athletics going down on this Tuesday. Game one happens on Tuesday evening. I’m recording this uh sorry, game one happens on Monday evening. I’m recording this Monday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game will be. I’m personally on the athletics in game one. We’ll see how it goes. But this is just a Tampa Bay team that I don’t want to take right now. You know, this is one of the coldest teams. This has been one of the coldest teams in the MLB since returning back from All-Star break. We just saw them get swept by the Mariners this past weekend. And what was most concerning about Tampa Bay in that series was just their pitching staff. I mean, you go into T-Mobile Ballpark, one of the more pitcher friendly ballparks in the league, and you know, the Mariners are putting up seven runs, six runs. You know, they’re hitting homers, they’re getting on base, and it just hasn’t been pretty for Tampa Bay. On the other hand, the Athletics are coming off a nice little series win against the Orioles. won that series two games to one and then the series before that they won um their series against the Nationals two games to one as well. So, you know, this is an athletic team that has showed promise throughout the season. They have a young core, a fun lineup, especially at the top of that lineup. Um that could do damage. They can. And look, I see them doing damage in this one. They’re going against Shane Bos who in his last five starts, he has a 0 and5 record and a 6490 RA. Yeah, it has not been a great season for Shane Buzz. Whereas Jacob Lopez takes him out for the athletics. He’s actually been one of the better guys in this athletics rotation. You know, he has a sub4 erra. You can’t be mad at that. You know, he’s pitching a lot of his starts in this hitter Finley ballpark in Sacramento. Any athletics pitchers who have a sub4 RA, I’m impressed. I’m impressed. And look, I think he has a good outing in this one. When you look at Tampa Bay splits, you know, they’ve they’ve struggled against lefties this season. And Jacob Lopez is a lefty. Against righties, the Rays batting average is a 260. Against lefties, the batting average of the Rays drop all the way down to a 227. So everything’s pointing to an Athletics win here for me, guys. I think they have the better starting starting pitcher on the mound. I think their lineup is just in much better form right now. Don’t get me wrong, that athletics bullpen is still a little bit scary, but with the way the Tampa Bay Rays have been playing right now, I can’t take them. I can’t take them, man. Give me the Athletics. I think they win this series, and I think they ultimately win this game as well. So, that’s going to do it. I appreciate you guys watching this, man. Drop a like.
