Please just be a result of sleeping awkwardly on the 4 hour flight home. He was warming up yesterday and didn’t report anything.
Why are we just now hearing about it? He hasn’t pitched since last Friday.
Had a feeling something was up when he wasn’t warming up. I was gonna say “I s2fg if it’s another injury,” but I didn’t wanna jinx anything.
To Astros fans “discomfort” now translates to 2 to 3 months on injury reserve smh.
Why can’t we enjoy a good outing by Javier without paying a penalty… it’s like when we went 8-1 on cubs, Phillies and dodgers we had to pay blood sacrifice for meyers and parades.. now we get fried and crochet on back to back nights with Jason Alexander and Javier and we sacrifice hader

He was throwing and sort of warming up yesterday but then he stopped and looked around while on the mound. Hopefully he didn’t injure himself while warming up yesterday.
Bro this isn’t even surprising, idk what Espada was thinking having him throw 40 pitches, we need him in the postseason, not with 40 games left.
Great… if Astros health announcement history is to repeat itself Hader’s arm fell off after his last outing and he needs 2 years for it to grow back.
Hader has seen too much use this season. And not just the typical 1 inning save, Espada has made very heavy use of stretching him out for 2 innings, especially in a tie game. Not faulting Espada on that though because Hader has been exceptional, but seeing him rack up mileage always made me worry for his long term health.
Could be cause Espada had him pitch 2 innings the other night instead of his usual 1. Hopefully it’s just soreness
