  1. This is actually the first time in a while I’ve been intrigued by nearly the entire top 10. Chourio and Shields continuing their success makes this list look way better.

  2. Be aware only 2 made the top 100 list, Mitchell at 49 and Jensen at 70. For comparison sake the Tigers have 2 guys…in the top 10.

The Royals system is probably 3 more years of food drafts away from having any type of organizational depth. The biggest concern here is if they keep doing what they’re doing now they may end up stuck perpetually being a team that hovers in playoff contention and nothing more.

  3. Two kids from Kansas City. People are so unaware how much baseball talent is in this city.

The current crop of hs players is legit.

  4. It feels like the international scouting has been better lately. I’m really high on Chourio. Yandel Ricardo and Ramon Ramirez have huge ceilings. Asbel Gonzalez isn’t far out of the top ten. I think Felix Arronde is a sleeper prospect people rarely talk about. Avila just got called up today, and there are a handful of other international guys in the top 30.

On the current team Garcia has turned into an all star. Freddy was really valuable, and Zerpa has been a solid middle relief arm.

Seemed like for a while a lot of our top international guys flamed out like Seuly Matias and Erick Pena, and there was a drought of impact international signees after Ventura came up.
