And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this match up between the Kansas City Royals and the Washington Nationals. For the Kansas City Royals, it’s Michael Walka listed as the starter in this one. While Mitchell Parker will get the nod for Washington in this game and you know the thing about Mitchell Parker is that he’s actually struggled in his last couple of starts at home, which was a little bit surprising at least if you look at the sort of zoom out and look at Michael uh excuse me, Mitchell Parker on the whole this season. But now after those performances, still a sub five erra, 4.94 RA at home, compared to a 6.10 ERA on the road, but he does have a 288 opponent’s batting average at home. He’s allowed a combined 32 extra base hits, eight homers, 22 doubles. So Parker is struggling pretty much regardless of where he’s pitching right now. And now you take on a Kansas City Royals lineup that in the last two weeks you would think this could be a good matchup for Parker to to deal with considering the Royals are hitting just 195 against left-handed pitching in the last two weeks across 98 plate appearances. Their team OPS numbers aren’t great and you know it’s just hard to really feel good about the direction of this team. But for me, Parker could be a little bit of a slump buster. There are certain pitchers on respective rotations where you know you face them and you know whatever is is ailing your team facing them is what cures you and I think that that’s what Mitchell Parker could be in this nationals rotation. On the other side you got Michael Walka who pitched really well and got the win for the Royals in two very tough road environments in August so far. Eight innings of one-run ball against what was a red-hot Blue Jays lineup. Six innings of two-run ball against an equally hot Boston Red Sox lineup. And Michael Walka across his last five starts. Basically going back to the start before the All-Star break has been really pitching solid. I mean five to six innings more often than not. Two earned runs or less in all those starts. A 1.78 erra in those five outings. And I think that he could pitch well here in this game. Like I said, I don’t love the the numbers for the uh the Royals right now against the lefties, but like I said, I think they can get to Parker for a few here. Now, Washington is improving their numbers against against righties, but I think that Walk is just a far better starting pitching option. I feel like the Royals have the better bullpen, and you know, Washington’s bullpen has been hard to trust for much of the season. And if you look at their numbers in the last two weeks out of the bullpen, this has been a Nationals team that has the second highest bullpen er in baseball at 7.40. Kansas City’s bullpen a full three runs better out of the pen. So, I’m going to roll with Kansas City in this one. You can take him on the run line if you want. It’s not a game I’m rushing to bet because of the price. If I’m betting this one, maybe I’ll use the Royals as a bit of a parlay piece. But either way, it’ll be Kansas City or nothing for me here.
