Two balls, two strikes. Lined up the middle. Nitto’s got it. Steps on second through to first. It’s a triple play. Whoa. A pitcher’s best friend. Shaw hits into a triple play to win the inning. And Rushing is slow to get up at first. Yeah, I hope he’s okay. Well, what a moment here at Angel Stadium in the freeway series with Show Otani right in the middle of it. A man who’s always involved in history. Lines into a triple play in a tie game here in the sixth inning of the big eight. Well, we say when show comes to the plate, you’re always going to expect something unbelievable. Well, here’s your unbelievable line drive. Nettle all in one motion. Triple play. I guarantee you had that your own bingo card, didn’t you, Wayne? Especially with Show up. It was unbelievable. You see rushing kind of slipped on the back there and went down. I think he’s okay. I think he’s back in there behind the plate. It’s only the eighth triple play in the history of the Angels. That is rushing behind the plate. The last one, remember, was in Shawell’s major league debut against the Rays back in August of 2023.

The triple play was'nt even Shohei's falt, was a lucky play by the Angels, but look at the haters come out like rodents knocking him.
