Detroit Pistons Sign Javonte Green My Thoughts!!
What’s going on, guys? This is Houston Sports Talk back in the video today. And today, the Detroit Pistons have signed Javante Green to a one-year contract. I think this is an interesting signing for the Pistons, bringing in Green. He was with the Cavs and Pelicans last year. Didn’t do much with the Cavs, only averaging three points per game with them, but since they were a more contending team, he only averaged nine minutes per game with the Cavs. But with the Pelicans, before getting bought out by them or or cut by them, he was averaging 22 minutes per night. He was shooting 35% from three, averaging six and four per game. You know, he actually had a really good season with the Chicago Bulls in 2023 24 season, averaging 12 points per game alongside eight rebounds per game for the Bulls. Shot 37% from three with the Bulls. That was in nine games and five starts, averaging 26 minutes per game with the Bulls. So, I think it was solid uh with the Pelicans last year. Not great with the Cavs, but didn’t play much. And then with with the with the Bulls in the 2324 season, I thought he was pretty good. So, um he could be a salt bench option for the Pistons.
